Donghyuck and Haeeun felt dizzy after a long practice session. It is one of those times when they give their all to practicing that lasts for a whole day.
Classes that have late examinations has just finished, and the next week will be Literary Week. The large open field became a place where all the booths stood, and there's also a mini-stage where certain performances will happen every night.
Colorful festival banners are hanging throughout the campus, and the university has become brighter than ever. Teachers also extended their help for the booths and programs. Indeed, strong unity is really shown in every event at the university.
Anyway, the throuple's bond is strengthening every day. They didn't have to ask each other what's happening, as they can already tell if something's wrong. The happiness of one is automatically reflected in the other two, whereas if one is unhappy, then the other two will be too.
Somehow, the students made nicknames for the three, inspired by the animated show Inside Out. Jaemin as Joy, Haeeun as Anger, and Donghyuck as Disgust or Embarrassment. It is simply self-explanation for the first two, but for Donghyuck, he is still confused about why the students gave him that nickname. Maybe confusion is best suited for him; no one knows.
While Donghyuck and Haeeun are busy practicing, Jaemin is mostly seen helping his department's booth. He is one of the design officers, and since his blockmates are mostly strict and picky with the designs, they are a little bit more pressured and behind than the other departments.
Little fights are inevitable. Like now, when the three got together, Haeeun argued with Jaemin's overly picky blockmates. It all started when the two visited their boyfriend at the MedTech booth, and they saw how his blockmates were yapping about the low-quality designs. It automatically irked Haeeun's patience, seeing Jaemin defend their work and becoming the center of negative criticism.
"How about you all help them instead of throwing tantrums like a five-year-old?" Haeeun argued. "You're all out here, hands on your hips, while yapping like angry birds. Is that your role? Criticizing?"
"How dare you? You're not even in our department!" The girl in the middle, from whom they learned her name, Chaein, said.
"Says the one who is actually in the department but not doing anything to help."
"I am telling them what to do!"
"You're not telling them; you're yelling at them. See the difference? Should I set an example?"
"Haeeun, it's all right." Jaemin lightly squeezed her hand. "We'll change some designs. It's not printed well."
"Oh, just that? Enough to embarrass you to others?" Haeeun scoffed. "Is she your departmental representative?"
"No"
"Ah," Haeeun lowly chuckled and glared at Chaein. "Instead of marching in here and shouting at them like you're the motherfucking leader, check your role first. If you don't have one, shut your fucking mouth. If your departmental representative is not even here to spare insults to their work, then why would you? Do you think setting up a booth is easy? The ones you are yelling at are the ones who made this booth from scratch and are actually the ones who are doing their best to represent your department. Bitch is yapping."
