Donghyuck met with Jaemin before his afternoon class started. The younger's eyes aren't that puffy as they were the hours before, and he is back to his bright mood.

Somehow, Donghyuck doubts if Jaemin is really genuinely happy, considering that his personality is just like that. Jaemin chooses to think positively and solve problems calmly, believing that they'll only get worse if he lets himself be affected too much.

Still, Donghyuck just stayed silent and let the younger boy babble around, scared to pop his bubble.

When dismissals came, Jaemin immediately went to wait for Donghyuck outside his classroom. Their sweet interactions did not become a bother to the other students, as they had already gotten used to them.

When they were on the way home, though, Jaemin became quiet again. His face is almost crumpled with sadness, sitting on the bus while looking through the window.

Donghyuck held his hand and squeezed it, gaining the younger's attention. He smiled.

"Do you want me to go home with you?"

Jaemin only nodded in reply, then leaned his head on his shoulder.

The couple arrived at Na's household without anyone around. His dad is on a business trip, while his mom has not yet arrived from work.

Jaemin and Donghyuck learned their own ways around the house—showering after the other and cooking foods to snack on.

The older hasn't opened up the topic of Haeeun, yet he can assume that the younger was sad again because of her. His curiosity has increased every hour since he went to school.

Donghyuck tried to look for the girl too, but his class schedules don't allow him to stroll longer. Messaging her is an option, but they are still in the line they strictly drew. Well, he doesn't want to appear desperate anyway.

So, here he is, sitting beside the younger while eating the pasta that they both cooked.

"Why are you not asking anything?" Jaemin suddenly asked, making Donghyuck look at him. "Aren't you curious?"

"Are we talking about that now?"

Jaemin nodded and sighed. "I haven't seen her on campus. She's not answering any of my calls or messages either."

"Can I ask what really happened?"

Jaemin didn't appear stubborn and told the older everything. Jaemin knows it's too personal, and he hasn't asked permission from the girl if he can tell it to his boyfriend, but Jaemin can't hold it much longer, and he needed help. Donghyuck is the perfect one for it.

Donghyuck listened. The younger was close to crying, and his voice started shaking, but he understood every single word. Somehow, his heart ached too. Like Jaemin, his heart broke for her. Now he knew why the younger cried like that. He almost cried too.

"And now, I can't reach her. What if something happened to her? I want to see her, Hyuck. I want to make sure she's okay." Jaemin pleads.

"I don't know where she lives, Nana." Donghyuck sighed and pulled him into his embrace. "But I promise, I'll do everything. I'll ask around. Then we'll go to her."
