It's been a week since the three tied the strings. It's also been a week since the news shook the school body, and it lasted a week for everyone who knew to get used to it.
Donghyuck, Haeeun, and Jaemin, whom the students dubbed the throuple trouble, have had their pictures flood the students forum lately. Even if the students got used to them being soulmates, some still couldn't ignore the weight of their interactions and capture their moments.
Before, they could completely ignore their minimum interactions when Donghyuck and Haeeun were still just debate partners, but when they became soulmates, even their simple intertwined hands couldn't escape the students' eyes.
When the counseling week ended and Haeeun's department was finally free of its obligations, it was Jaemin's turn to get busy. The Medical Technology students were tasked with assisting the professionals with the annual blood donation, and the list of star students, which Jaemin was on, had the most work because they'd personally perform the activity as part of their training.
The blonde was all over the place at the start of the event, and when a professional asked him if he's ready, he couldn't help but flash a nervous smile. Of course, the professionals were kind enough to not push the students if they're still not ready, but they were also supportive to get them to perform.
Thankfully, Jaemin pulled himself together and got friends with needles, successfully collecting blood without any problem.
"You're good," the female phlebotomist who supervised him complimented.
"Thank you," Jaemin answered with a relieving smile.
"You don't look nervous at all. Are you sure this is your first time?"
"Oh, please, if you could see me without a mask, you would get nervous too," he said, making the phlebotomist laugh. He didn't lie, though; he's thankful that they got to wear face masks, or else the donor would see how nervous he is and cancel.
"Still, job well done. See me after you rest, okay? I'll let you collect a few more."
"I will. Thank you, miss."
Jaemin heaved a sigh and threw the sandwich bag. Looking to see if there are canned juices left, a hand stretched in front of him with an iced coffee. The structure of the hand and the honey-like complexion gave away who it was, and Jaemin immediately raised his head while flashing a bright smile.
"Hey, my future doctor," Donghyuck said with a soft tone.
"Hyuckie," Jaemin pouted and stole a peck on his lips. He then grabbed the coffee and sipped on it, letting out a relieving sigh. "Now this is rest."
Donghyuck chuckled and kissed his forehead. "Are you done?"
"Not yet. My supervisor still wants me to perform a few more."
"That means you're doing good! I'm proud of you, baby."
"Well, you should, honey. I'm doing this for our future," Jaemin answered with a sass in his tone, causing the latter to laugh. "Where's Haeeun?"
"Ah, we're here for a cause. I momentarily forgot."
"We?"
