Haeeun resumed school for the next week. She sent an email to the dean about her absence, and she was granted a pass to retake the tests that she missed.
Over the past week, her parents only knew when she went home from the hospital. She was with Minjeong and Yerim, and the sisters were the ones who briefed them about what happened. Her parents voiced out their worries, but it only lasted for a day or so before she's left alone in the huge house again, with the maids who took care of her.
As soon as Haeeun got out of the car, she was immediately greeted by Jaemin and Donghyuck, who surprisingly waited for her in front of the university gate.
Jaemin approached her with a bright smile, then grabbed her bag, strapping it on his shoulder.
"Come, let's walk you to your class."
"That'll be weird," Haeeun said, openly rejecting the offer. "The students, Jaemin. They didn't know."
"What is? You being admitted, or us being soulmates?"
"Both," she said, trying to get her bag back, but the male twisted his body so she wouldn't. "Don't be stubborn, Jaemin."
"We'll just walk you to your class."
"With my bag on you?"
"Do you prefer my hand on yours?"
Haeeun shifted her eyes to Donghyuck, who's standing quietly on the side. The male met her eyes and just shrugged. She sighed and faced the blonde again.
"People will talk about it."
"Let them."
Having no energy to argue, Haeeun only walked ahead, which both males followed. She's in the middle, surprised that Donghyuck didn't walk beside his boyfriend as usual.
They already received a lot of stares on the way to her building. She doesn't have to open the student forum, as she is already sure that they are talking about them.
"They're talking about us," Donghyuck said while scrolling through the forum.
"Told you," Haeeun responded.
"What are they saying?" Jaemin asked.
"Just surprised to see us with the witch."
"I have a name." Haeeun grumbled.
"Do you want me to scold them for calling you a witch, dearest?" Donghyuck grinned, emphasizing the sudden nickname.
Haeeun faked a gag, then pinched his side, making him yelp. She hissed, rolling her eyes at him, then saw some students staring and giggling in their direction.
"Like what you see?" Haeeun called them out, making them look away and behave like kittens.
"Just let them," Jaemin whispered, dragging her away.
Haeeun let out a sharp exhale. "I knew it would come to this."
