Haeeun woke up a little disoriented. She didn't even know how and what time she fell asleep. All she knows is that she drowned herself in her vices and let time pass.

It was close to twelve when she got out of bed and went to her bathroom to take a quick shower. She even scolded herself for sleeping in, and she's even more mad when she can't remember a thing other than smoking. Still, she chose to calm herself and move faster so that she could leave the house.

Haeeun saw her mom and dad in the living room when she went downstairs. She overheard them arguing and assumed that they didn't notice her around, so she ignored them and went straight to the garage where she parked her bike. She secured her bag, started the engine, and then let Mister Noh open the gates for her.

Haeeun's throat was drying up the whole ride to school. She then remembered that she hadn't drank any liquid before going out. She's sure Jaemin would scold her again big time if he knew.

A soft smile cruised through her lips. Damn, at this point, thinking about the boys would make her go crazy. I mean, is that even a part of the soulmate effect, or is she's only out of her mind? It's not a bad thing, though. They're soulmates, and it's normal. After all, Haeeun got excited when she could already see the huge structure of the university building from a distance.

Finally, she will see the boys again. Haeeun knew they could distract her from what happened earlier, and they could do it effortlessly.

So, here she is, walking towards Donghyuck and Jaemin, who are patiently waiting for her at a table inside the cafeteria. The hall is filled with people, and it is generally loud, but Haeeun felt like she's in a K-drama where the main character would feel like everything is in slow motion and would see roses flying around.

I know, cringe.

"Hi, I slept in. I'm sorry," Haeeun said the moment she arrived at their table.

"It's fine! I'm glad that you had extra rest. Hyuck barged into our house a few minutes after you went home, so getting more rest is impossible for me," Jaemin said in a teasing tone with a small pout on his lips.

"I'm offended. Are you saying that I'm just a disturbance?" Donghyuck said in a light gasp.

"Yeah," Jaemin answered in a bored tone, receiving a small pinch in the arm from his boyfriend.

Jaemin is a little dramatic, so he let out a loud ouch and proceeded whining while scooting closer to Haeeun. He began curling on her side, pushing his head against the crook of her neck, while seeking comfort from the girl.

Donghyuck rolled his eyes, ignoring his boyfriend's antics, and turned to the girl. "What do you want to eat?"

"Anything you guys eat," Haeeun answered with a soft smile while patting Jaemin's cheek.

"Okay, I'll try to make you eat a lot," Donghyuck said with a short chuckle. "How about you, Jaemin?"

"Jaemin's not here," the blonde answered in a mumble.

Donghyuck rolled his eyes and stood up. "Alright. I'll order everything I see fit."

When the brunette walked away, it was the only time that Jaemin stopped snuggling on the girl's shoulder and sat straight. He had sleepy eyes but a victorious smile on his lips that caused Haeeun to laugh out loud.
