It was another great day for the students. It was the last day of the school week, and just like they said, TGIF.
The throuple is once again planning a weekend sleepover. It will be in Jaemin's house for now, as his mother also invited the soulmates for a weekend bonding.
It is truly a dream, especially for Haeeun, who is rarely invited for a weekend blast with family. Indeed, she is now known as a part of the Lee and Na family.
"Should we plan for foods too?" Haeeun suggests. "Or should I make a dish myself?"
"You'll make one? Why?" Jaemin asks in surprise.
"I'll just buy a cake." Haeeun just answered, avoiding the question.
"Why a cake? We don't have any birthdays to celebrate," Donghyuck said.
"Why? Do we only buy a cake for birthdays? We can eat it for dessert," Haeeun retorted.
"Okay, okay, no need to lose our temper." Donghyuck surrendered in a laugh. "But why, though?"
"I'm just..." Haeeun looked away from them and darted her eyes in front.
"Just?"
She huffed. "Aren't you shy about not bringing anything if you're invited to each other's home?"
"Not really. We do cook though," Jaemin answered, then looked at his boyfriend.
"Shy is not really the word, but we do consider buying something for the family," Donghyuck said. "Why do you ask?"
"Are you perhaps shy?" Jaemin asked, earning a glare from the girl. He laughed. "Baby, why would you?"
"Oh, shut up."
"Really? You're shy?" Donghyuck asked again.
"Why won't you say it louder for the whole campus to hear?" Haeeun spat, earning a chuckle from the two.
Jaemin placed an arm around her waist, pulling her closer so that she would lessen her pace. "Don't be, hm? They really don't mind. Just seeing you there comforts them."
"I'm just not used to it, Jaemin. I'm shy to come empty-handed, that's all."
"Okay, then, what do you want to do?"
"I'll buy a cake and make a dish."
Jaemin smiled and kissed her head. "Then we'll do it."
The assurance made Haeeun relax after a while. She also walked at a normal speed, matching the boys' pace. However, it thrilled the boys to see another emotion from Haeeun. It's the first time that Haeeun has openly told them that she's shy and that she's still not used to this weekend family bond.
It seems like Donghyuck and Jaemin have to plan to make the girl get used to everything regarding their family antics.
"So, do we buy a cake now, or we'll just swing by the nearest bakery tomorrow?" Donghyuck asked.
"We can go to the grocery store and buy a cake now," Haeeun answered.
"I'm good with that. Also, please, darling, don't try to race with us on the road. My heart is bombing with fear whenever I see you zoom past us and the other cars on the highway!" Jaemin nagged, earning a laugh from the girl.
