"You're that hungry?" Jaemin asks, finally gaining the girl's attention who's inhaling the meal kit, which he heated up for her.

"Ahh," Haeeun said, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. "I got hungry while driving around."

"Why have you even decided to drive around in dead hours?"

"How long do you work here?"

"Don't change the topic."

Haeeun zipped her mouth close and just took a bite of the triangle kimbap. "Mm, I haven't eaten these kinds of foods for so long."

"Baek Haeeun.."

"Do you want?" Haeeun offered, but stopped midway when she saw him looking at her with a face she hated to see. "Stop looking at me like that."

"Like what?"

"Like you worry about me."

Jaemin sighed and just urged her to eat. "Finish your food."

Haeeun just mumbled a small thanks and continued eating. She finished it fast, then drank the soda with a sigh of relief. She lightly burped, then looked at the male embarrassedly.

Jaemin only laughed, then placed a sealed water bottle in front of her.

"So, you can be cute too," he mumbled.

"Huh?" Haeeun heard it; she just can't believe what she heard.

Jaemin flashed a small smile. "Full?"

"Mhm, I ate well. Thanks, Jaemin. Let me pay."

"I already told you no."

"But it'll deduct from your salary. Come on."

"I don't work here. I'm just helping sometimes. This is Hyuck's family's store. We both help if we don't have anything to do the next day, especially if they lack of crews on the shifting hours. Hyuck is busy studying and my classes will start tomorrow at 2 p.m., so I'm here," Jaemin explained. "Your turn now."

Haeeun looked away and gazed nowhere in front of her. She just can't say that she left home because her parents are fighting. Actually, why can't she? The public knows about her family tree.

"Nice bike, by the way. Aren't you scared?"

"Huh?" Haeeun ripped out from her thoughts, looking at the male who's already looking at her. "Oh, thanks. I bought it with my own money as a birthday gift for myself."

"Cool. Do you know what's not cool?" His smile dropped. "Cigarettes."

"Ah," Haeeun chuckled. "I'm getting better; I mean it."

"Is that why you're always carrying a lollipop?"

"How do you know?"

"Wild guess."

Haeeun nodded. "Minjeong strictly trained me. She lived with me for months just to make sure that I wouldn't smoke again."
