hello guys, it's the squads residential nerd, ellie, rantin live from my bedroom.
okay so two things to talk about ; heat and exams
number one, heat.
iTS TOO HOT GUYS
ITS BOILING. ITS BEEN ABOUT 35°-36° THE PAST THREE DAYS AND ITS BEEN HELL. wednesday was the worst. it reached 40°. NO ONE SHOULD BE MADE TO SUFFER THIS HEAT. i have drunk at least two litres of water a day (i never really drink much) and i have worn a skirt without tights or even socks for two days. i never do that. ever. did you guys know that you can get cramp from dehydration?? i've got a horrible cramp in my leg. it hurts. it is that hot, i couldn't sleep last night. it was about 12 when i fell asleep, i woke up at 2:30am and then again at 4:30am. its been horrible, and it's supposed to be worse than today was tomorrow (today wasn't as bad as yesterday, which was the worst).
okay, number two! exams.
so this last two weeks, i have had to do mock GCSE exams. they are actual GCSEs from past years, and i've had to do an english, a history, 2 french, a physics, a biology, a chemistry and 2 two hour maths papers. i only have my french and maths scores back, but at least i've finished them now!! in french, i got 39/45 marks, for a c (the highest you could get, we did the foundation paper, i'll do the higher one for my actual exams in two years time and be able to achieve an a) but, i am so happy about my maths scores. maths is my worst subject, i have always been terrible at it, but on my first, i got 77/100 for a c (foundation paper again) and on my second i got 91/100 for a c and i got a c overall!! very happy about that. apparently, that was 73% in total (idk what the percentage means, we have never marked things with percentages before). considering that these papers were made for 16 year olds to take, and i'm 14, i have done pretty well
well, hope your all good!! i'm rather excited, me and my best friends are having a sleepover tomorrow and we're gonna go see terminator gynesis!! also, today, my best friend said that i am now married to eren from attack on titan (it's a long story). noice.
