So I hate my biology teacher.
It all started on the very first day of school when we were notified that all Honors science students (I'm in all Honors classes) are required to enter a project into this big science fair.
I'm not a science lover in the first place. This announcement did not help.
Then there's my teacher.
I'll call him Dr S.
Dr S is this really tall guy who's probably in his mid-70s, he's losing his hearing, and he is the LEAST ORGANIZED TEACHER I'VE EVER HAD
AND I'VE HAD SOME PRETTY BAD TEACHERS BEFORE WHEN IT COMES TO ORGANIZATION
Thing is with him is that you'll ask him a question, he'll stare at you for a second, the 1) ask you to repeat it 15 times or 2) say "we'll talk about that later" and then bell will end up ringing at the end of class leaving you with your question still unanswered. Plus he never tells us what the hell the quiz/test material is on, he just expects us to know it and understand it.
Which no one does.
So I check my email this afternoon and HEY there's an email from Dr S.
And it's titled "science fair project".
Uh oh indeed.
So I open it up and it says I need to have one to two paragraphs each written about a potential science fair topic.
This isn't supposed to be due until next week, according to the schedule he gave us, AND he told us THE NIGHT BEFORE when ALL the freshmen had this ceremony thing tonight.
I had to tell the other girls in my class to check their emails when they got home because of this.
I'm just so frustrated by him! He's an awful teacher and I have my lowest overall grade in his class (except for another class that I literally have one grade for so far even though I'm officially an eighth of the way through my school year already) and it just pisses me off because I feel like it's putting my year off on a bad start, and I have him the WHOLE YEAR unlike most of the courses that I actually like.
I hate it and it's impossible to rant to one of my friends who's in this class with me because she likes science and she tries to defend him but I think she's starting to crack, too. He's just horrible.
At least now I have two potential shitty science fair ideas.
