My best friend and I have talked about starting a YouTube channel together ever since we were in sixth grade. In sixth grade I wasn't really serious about this. I didn't really care but now I realize that I really wanna do this.
What I need to know is how do I ask my mom without seeming awkward? I thought maybe I'd write a letter.
I already know that my dad may not like the idea but I don't really think my parents will be together much longer so I'm not really worried about what he thinks right now.
I just need to figure out how to start up the conversation.
I thought maybe I'd just say something like "can I ask you something?" And then just explain about why I want to start a YouTube channel.
It is good that I'm asking for her permission, right?
