Aubrey looked up, and her eyes widened. She stood up and walked up to Kel. " I heard you got hurt. Are you okay?" She asked. Kel blinked, obviously expecting her to hit him with her bat. He grinned, and replied calmly, "I'm fine! How are you? You seem pretty bored." Aubrey sighed. "This is how we spend most of our days now. Things have been uneventful since you broke your leg. There's no one who's brave enough to talk back to us when we shout at them." Kel stared at her, horrified, while she just twiddled her fingers. She looked up to continue their conversation when her eyes landed on Sunny and Basil.

Basil stepped back, and began to break into a run, he grabbed Sunny's hand and pulled him along, and the two boys ran away from the park. Aubrey's face contorted into one of hate, and she beckoned for the others to get up. She began to run after them, and the Hooligans followed suit, leaving Kel in their dust.

Basil and Sunny sat in a bush as Aubrey and the Hooligans got closer and closer to their hiding spot. Basil held his breath, and Sunny tucked his feet into his chest. Basil smiled,"After you told them the truth, she got really mad at me, and I mean really mad. The bullying got worse, and she started chasing after me when I started running away, so now I have resorted to hiding in bushes." He glanced at Sunny, then added, "It's not so bad once you get used to it."

Sunny stared at him, and reality began to sink in. "We murdered her." He said, his eyes filling with tears. Basil shook his head. "It's called manslaughter if it's accidental." he stated proudly. Sunny turned to him,"How does that make our situation better?" he asked sarcastically. Basil sighed, "At least we'll get a shorter prison sentence..."
