Kel had stormed out of the house, and was walking through the town, drying his tears. He walked to the park and sat on one of the swings, pushing himself back and forth as he collected his thoughts.

Why would Hero do that? How could Hero do that? I thought he was better than that.

Kel jumped off the swing, shivering.

I feel so cold.

Kel was about to walk off when he saw a glint of green near the trees. He walked over and picked up the object, cutting himself one the shard of glass.

"OW!" Kel exclaimed staring at his bleeding palm.

I'm bleeding.

.

.

.

My blood is red.

Kel continued to stare at his palm in a trance-like manner, pocketed the shard, and walked off.

Kel found himself in front of Sunny's house, as he reminisced about their time together while Hero was gone. Kel reached for the doorknob, and pushed the front door open, and made his way through the once-warm walls. He was in the backyard now, and everything had become louder.

The crunch of leaves and the cream of wood was deafening as Kel made his way up into thee treehouse, cradling himself as the world seemed to shake around him. He could feel the shard of glass poke him through his clothes, so he took it out with his good hand and inspected it closely.

It's cold, and the edges are rough and red.

Kel watched as the blood that was caked on the edges dripped down onto his fingers, staining his hand. Kel held out the shard in front of his stomach, gripping the shard with both hands, then brought it down on his body.
