The rest of the day passed by quickly, with the two boys doing nothing eventful. They felt they deserved this, especially after all the things they had been through. Soon enough, it was nighttime, and both Sunny and Kel were in their respective sleeping spaces.
Sunny was watching Kel sleep again, with nothing else to do before he slept off. He thought back to the events of the morning, thinking about how Kel had comforted him, even though Kel could have left him, since it was what Sunny deserved. Kel hugged me! Sunny thought, his face turning red. I PUT MY HEAD IN HIS CHEST! Sunny could hear Omori's giggling voice at the back of his head as Sunny slammed his head into his pillow, in a desperate effort to get his flustered thoughts out of his head.
"Sunny? Are you okay?" A sleepy voice said. Sunny turned to see Kel sitting up in his fort, staring at Sunny, puzzled. Sunny blushed. "It's nothing, you can go back to sleep." Sunny mumbled. "But I'm wide awake now." Kel replied. "So how about you tell me what's going on with you?"
Sunny stared at Kel, dumbfounded. "Why do you wanna know?" asked Sunny. Kel grinned. "I'm concerned about your wellbeing! That's all." Kel replied. "There has to be another reason." Sunny said, sure of his statement. Kel blushed. "Of course there's no other reason! Why would there be another reason?" Kel chattered.
Sunny smiled. "Now I'm SURE there's another reason." He stated. Kel giggled, giddy on happiness, and shook his head like a lovestruck girl. Sunny grinned widener, and chucked his pillow at Kel, which hit Kel in the face. "HEY!" Kel exclaimed. "That's not fair!" Sunny laughed, seeing Kel's expression, and soon Kel started to laugh too.
Kel flung one of the pillows from the fort at Sunny, who caught it with his hand. "Where'd You learn to do that!" Kel cried in shock. "You haven't even tried playing basketball!" Sunny smiled, and brought his finger up to his lips. "It's a secret." Sunny whispered, obviously going to regret this decision as soon as he woke up the next day.
Kel blushed. He was overwhelmed by all his feelings from the day, and in the moment overall, and he could feel his insides churning, and his face felt like it was on fire. All his caution and fear was thrown to the wind as he uttered the words:
"That was hot."
Author's note: It's very hard to turn into a giggling mess writing this when you use extremely fancy words. The fanciness downplays the "moe" factor.
