The sun's rays peeked through the window, causing Kel's eyelids to flutter, waking him up. Kel sat up and looked over to Sunny's sleeping figure in his bed. Kel smiled and kissed Sunny on the forehead, then made his way downstairs. He walked to the front door and peeked into the front yard, looking for any signs of Hero or his parents.

"No one." Kel sighed, smiling softly. He looked at the clock hanging above the couch, and frowned as he read the time. Guess I'm still used to waking up this early. It's only 5. Kel thought to himself. Kel made his way to the kitchen and made himself a cup of Orange Joe, doing his best not to wake Sunny up. He sat on the front door step and sipped his Orange Joe while he watched the sunrise, at peace.

When Sunny woke up and couldn't find Kel, he got worried. He ran through the house looking for Kel, and only when he decided to spread his search to the town, he hit Kel with the door while walking out.

"OHMYGOD!" Sunny cried, as Kel held his head in his hands, grunting in pain. Sunny grabbed Kel's hands and led him back into the house, where Sunny inspected Kel's head.

"I'm fine Sunny I swear!" Kel exclaimed, as Sunny hovered around him muttering too fast for Kel to make out anything. "Cmon' let it go, it was just an accident!" Kel sighed, "My head doesn't even hurt anymore!" Kel grabbed Sunny and sat him down on the couch, making sure he stayed put.

"Sorry Kel." Sunny said, pouting. Kel smiled and kissed Sunny on the cheek.

"It's okay." Kel said, smiling warmly. Sunny smiled back, then got up.

"Let's get breakfast ready, then we'll go meet the others. Okay?" Sunny said. Kel grinned widely, and followed Sunny to the kitchen, ready to help. The two of them made pancakes, and they downed them with great fervour. The two then changed into more outdoorsy clothing and made their way to Aubrey's and Basil's house.

When they picked up both of them, they immediately started formulating a plan to deal with Hero, since Sunny had filled them in already.

"We should talk to him peacefully, and try to flesh out an agreement with Hero!" Basil suggested. Sunny agreed with Basil's plan, but Kel and Aubrey were out for BLOOD.

"I say we beat some sense into him!" Aubrey shouted enthusiastically. Kel nodded enthusiastically, shouting:

"That's the best idea you've had in a while Aubrey!" Aubrey frowned, annoyed.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN "IN A WHILE"?" Aubrey snapped, while Kel giggled mischievously. Sunny sighed, while Basil shook his head disappointedly.

"We should find a peaceful way to work things out, since we know that Hero's capable of resorting to violence." Basil suggested, while Sunny backed up Basil's argument with the night before Hero and Kel's parents left for Hero's college. Kel frowned, remembering the look on Hero's face and the stinging that Hero's slap had left on his cheek.

"But that's exactly the reason we should respond in the same way! Fight fire with fire, yeah?" Aubrey exclaimed, while Kel nodded in agreement.

Sunny sighed. The group obviously wouldn't be coming to an agreement anytime soon.
