Sunny took Kel's hands off his face, and intertwined his fingers with Kel's. Both Kel and Sunny blushed a deep shade of pink as they stared into each other's eyes. "Where should we go on our first date?" Sunny asked sheepishly. Kel smiled. " I don't know. Maybe we could go to the beach or something?" Kel suggested. Sunny's eyes lit up. "We could have a picnic! Like the ones all of us used to have!" Sunny exclaimed. Kel grinned wider, in agreement of the idea.
"Why aren't they kissing?" Aubrey whispered. Basil sighed. "A relationship shouldn't be centred around sensual or romantic acts. Instead they should be about being yourself with the person you trust, who can be a platonic or romantic interest." Basil explained. Aubrey stared at Basil. "Speak in english please." Aubrey pleaded. Basil groaned. " A relationship is about being happy with the person you like." Basil explained once more. Aubrey gasped. "That's what you meant!" Aubrey exclaimed.
Sunny looked at Kel, just taking in the gravity of the situation. Me and Kel are dating. We're official. I actually confessed, and he likes me back. Sunny thought excitedly. What about Hero? What would he do? What would happen to me? What would happen to Kel? Sunny thought frantically. Sunny decided to bring it up with Kel. "Hey, Kel?" Sunny said. "What's up?" Kel answered.
"What about Hero?" Sunny asked. Kel stopped smiling, and lay down on the ground, frowning. Sunny fretted. "What's wrong? I'm sorry if I said anything wrong!" Sunny cried. Kel smiled. "You didn't do anything! It's just that, it's Hero. He's hurt you so much, and I can't tell how he'll react, and I'm just...... scared." Kel confessed. Sunny smiled sadly, and lay down on the ground next to Kel. "Who are you scared for?" Sunny asked.
Author's note: So yeah, It was supposed to end here, and then I remembered the "Hero plothole" so the story will go on to talk abt them worrying abt Hero for nothing and Kel's trauma from the accident! :D It's gonna go the same as most of the story has gone before, but with Sunny and Kel dating. :D So hang on, cuz there's still a bit more to go!
