Basil pulled Sunny aside while Kel talked to Polly, and immediately pestered Sunny with questions. "What's going on with you and Kel?" Basil asked. Sunny blushed and sighed. "He confessed to me that he likes me." Sunny said, picking at the hem of his sweater vest. Basil gasped. "WHAT?" Basil cried. "He likes you back? That's amazing!" Sunny sighed again.

Basil narrowed his eyes. "You didn't tell him you like him back, did you?" Basil questioned. "It's not just that!" Sunny exclaimed. "We were both sleep-deprived, and acting really weirdly. I can't be sure he really meant it." Basil was even more suspicious. "You're scared. You're scared that you're making a mistake, and it's alright!" Basil said, trying his best to reassure Sunny.

"Relationships can be scary, and I understand how you don't want to ruin the friendship you have with Kel, but you have to understand, if you don't respond to his feelings in some way, your relationship will only get worse." Sunny looked into Basil's eyes, and saw sincerity, and nodded. "Fine. I'll talk to him later." Sunny replied. Basil smiled, trusting Sunny's promise.

"So what's up with Aubrey?" Basil asked. Sunny smiled. "She's willing to give us a chance, and she agreed not to try to kill us." Sunny said. Basil grinned even wider. "That's brilliant! We can now at least try to salvage our friendship with her!" Basil joked. Sunny giggled. "Don't say that, Aubrey's giving us a chance! We should be happy!" Sunny reprimanded. Basil sighed. "I'm not sure she'll forgive us that easily. Mari was her best friend, and a role model for her." Basil said.

Sunny frowned. "Let's make the most of this second chance she's given us, and try our best to make it up to her." Sunny said. Basil sighed. "Alright. Let's try our best to make up for manslaughter for our friend with a bat with nails in it who has the intent of killing us." Basil replied. Sunny groaned. "I'll take that as a yes." Sunny said.
