Kel sat on the cold wooden floor of the treehouse, bleeding out. Sunny's gonna be so mad at me for this. Kel thought, chuckling. He stared at the now red shard of glass on the floor beside him, running a finger along its edge, his eyes locked onto the glass with a twisted form of interest.
It's cold, and it hurts so much.
Kel stared ahead of him, his arms limp at his sides, as tears pushed out of his eyes. Spots began to appear in his vision, and he started feeling nauseous, so he began to shut his eyes as he gave into sleep, but his eyes fluttered open when he saw a young lady standing before him.
Mari.
"W-what are your doing here?" Kel exclaimed, propping himself up on his arms. "Aren't you dead?"
"And you think you're alive at this point?Mari questioned, to which Kel hung his head, embarrassed.
"What would Sunny think of this?" Mari sighed, sitting on her knees, her hand on Kel's shoulder. "The two people he treasures most, dying prematurely. You really are selfish Kel."
Kel groaned, gritting his teeth.
" It's your fault! You pushed him too hard, and you died, and now Hero's broken!"
Mari sighed sombrely, waving her hands as if she were waving the fact away.
" That's not the problem here. The problem here, is you."
Kel huffed weakly, as his life slipped away from his grip.
"Anywho," Mari finished, "I can't lecture you now since you're seconds from dying, so it's best if I just leave you to your thoughts at this point."
Kel sighed, and reached out to touch Mari as she walked off, taking his final breath as he bled out in the same place Mari died.
