Kel could hear the crunch of car tires on gravel, and knew that his parents were home. Sunny Basil and Aubrey were inside, watching a movie. Kel stood on the doorstep, calling for the others to come outside Hero drove the car into the garage.The group stood near the garage door, waiting fo rHero and Kel's parents to leave the car.
"Kelsey!" Kel's mother exclaimed, running to hug him.
"Hi Mama." Kel exclaimed, hugging his mother tightly.
"How've you been holding up?" Hero questioned lightheartedly. Kel stiffened, on edge. He replied in a monotone voice.
"I'm doing fine." Kel replied. Hero smiled, unable to hear the disgust in Kel's voice.
Kel's father walked up to Sunny and shook his hand, saying, "Thank you for taking care of Kelsey while we were gone."
Kel blushed, grinning lopsidedly. Sunny smiled softly and replied, "It was my pleasure!"
Kel's mother invited Aubrey, Basil and Sunny in for dinner. She sent Kel to set the table as the three friends made themselves at home.
Kel grabbed several plates from a drawer, and was placing them around the table, and was leaving when he was stopped by Hero.
"Hi Kel!" Hero exclaimed joyfully, as Kel looked on, his jaw clenched.
"What's wrong?" Hero asked, unaware. "Are you still mad about what I did to you and Sunny? I apologised already. You can stop the fuss." Kel turned to face Hero, a pained look on his face. "Why are you acting like this? This isn't how a person who apologised for his actions acts!" Kel exclaimed, as Hero sighed.
"What's gotten into you lately? You've really been getting hard to handle lately." Hero confessed, annoyed. Kel began to tear up, and grabbed Hero by the shoulders.
"Stop treating me like this! Stop treating US like this!" Kel yelled. Hero frowned.
"Who's us?"
"Me and Sunny." Kel stated grimly. Hero sighed, exhausted.
"You have a serious obsession with him Kel. You've got to stop this. It's childish."
"I love him, Hero. We're dating." Kel exclaimed angrily. Hero cringed, pushing Kel away.
"You keep on making so many bad decisions Kel. I'm trying to help you." Hero cried, his eyes shining. Kel sobbed, tears spilling down his face, as his eyes lost their glimmer.
"You're suffocating me, Hero. I just- can't take it anymore." Kel whispered, sobbing. Hero stood there, taken aback, as Kel ran out of the room.
Author's note: Cover changed bcuz of copyright, and I didn't update yesterday cuz I entered the eye of eden in Sky Cotl, and got krilled 20+ times :)
This might happen again, but ill be reverting to my daily update schedule next week.
Maybe this fanfic is ending in, like 2-4 chapters, so I dont have much to update :p
