Sunny took a deep breath, and exhaled, then opened his mouth to say what he had wanted to say for a long time, but no sound came out. He could feel his heart beating louder and faster as he tried to speak. Am I making the right decision? I can't do this. I can't tell him. What if he didn't mean it that way? Sunny thought, his mind racing at a hundred miles a minute. Sunny looked at Kel, and saw only nerves. He's just as terrified as I am. Sunny realised. Sunny breathed deep once more, and began to speak.

"Kel. In response to what you said last night, no matter whether you meant it in a romantic way or not, I like you. Romantically. You're an amazing person, and you're really forgiving and kind, and you're selfless, and I like everything about you. If I could tell you all the things I like about you, we'd be here for a loooong while. Anyways, I just wanted to tell you that." Sunny gushed, his eyes shut tight, unwilling to look at Kel's face, afraid of the response that awaited him.

From behind a bush, a few metres away, the Hooligans, Aubrey, and Basil were celebrating quietly. "HE DID IT!" Aubrey whisper-screamed. "I KNOW!" Basil whisper-screamed back. Of course, both Sunny and Kel were unaware of the group, and went on, oblivious of the silent watchers.

Sunny's eyes were still shut tight when he felt someone holding his face in their hands. Sunny opened his eyes to see Kel's face inches away from his. Sunny turned pink, and placed his hands over Kel's.

"I like you too." Kel said. "Romantically." Kel added, as Sunny giggled softly. "I love you and how you always have an answer for everything, and I love how even though you're quiet, you're always thinking about others, and just.... EVERYTHING about you. I love YOU." Kel exclaimed.

Sunny smiled widely, and kel smiled back.

" Kel, would you like to go out with me?" Sunny asked, already sure of the answer.

"I'd love to." Kel replied.
