After Kel had calmed down, Kel walked off to the kitchen and made himself a mug of Orange Joe. When he sat down again, Sunny asked him if he could try a bit.
"I haven't tried it before." Sunny exclaimed excitedly. "It could be as good as you say it is!"
Kel blushed.
"I don't think that's such a good idea, I mean... My sense of taste is broken, so it's probably as bad as what Aubrey tells you." Kel muttered, desperately trying to stop Sunny. Sunny smiled evilly, and grabbed the mug from Kel's hands.
Sunny gulped down a quarter of the liquid, then sat very still, taking in the taste.
"IT'S HORRIBLE!" Sunny screamed, thrusting the mug back into Kel's hands. Kel smiled sheepishly, and gulped down the rest of the "juice". Sunny grimaced as Kel smiled widely at him.
"Told you my taste buds were broken." Kel said teasingly, as Sunny stared at him, disappointed.
Sunny put in a new DvD in the DvD player and the two boys sat there, their eyes glued to the screen. Sunny's head was on Kel's shoulder, and Kel's hand was in Sunny's. The two boys were blushing, and as Sunny looked up at Kel, he could see the brunette trying to suppress a smile. Sunny's eyes took in every aspect of Kel, drinking it in, like it would be the last time he would ever see Kel again.
Kel looked over, to find his face inches away from Sunny's. Kel froze, not knowing what to do. Sunny smiled, his face pink, then kissed Kel gently. Kel, taken aback, did nothing but sit there, as Sunny pulled back, his face redder than before.
"Oh my god." Kel whispered, staring at Sunny. Sunny looked away, flustered, but Kel simply hugged Sunny, resting his head on Sunny's shoulder.
The two boys sat like that for the rest of the movie, becoming accustomed to this new way of life, when they heard the faint ring of the doorbell.
