Harry came to us.
"Are you two okay?"
I nodded, and Neville said: "Yes."
"And Ron?"
"He was still fighding the brains when I lefd, bud I dink he's alrighd."

Suddenly someone grabbed Harry by his neck, and pulled him up, and told him to give the prophecy.
Neville sneaked up on him and jabbed Hermione's wand into the eyehole of the mask. The man screamed.
"Stupefy!" I yelled from the floor. I took my stick and stood up again.
He fell backwards, his mask falling off. He was the only Death Eater I did recognise; Macnair, the executioner for Buckbeak.

An eye rolled towards us, and I recognised it as Moody's eye, who lay knocked down on the floor further away, bleeding from his head. The silent Death Eater could speak again, and said: "Tarantallegra!" to Neville, who's legs began dancing uncontrollably, causing him to fall.
"Petrificus Totalus!" Harry yelled, and Sirius got to us.
"Nice one! Now, I want you to get out of h-"
We had to duck to escape a green light, and as I looked behind, I saw Tonks fall from halfway up the benches.
"Harry, Jynx, take the prophecy, take Neville, and go!"
I nodded, and Sirius was off battling Bellatrix.
We tried to heave Neville and carry him up the stairs, but I couldn't hold my stick with my numb hand, and I couldn't bear weight with my back. I tried to help, nonetheless.
Lucius came in to snatch the prophecy away, but Harry threw it and I caught it, falling over again. I threw it at Neville.
"Impedimenta!" Harry yelled, and Lucius was out of sight.
"Harry, take the others and go!" Lupin said, as he distracted Lucius.

We took Neville again, whose legs were still shaking, and Neville put the prophecy in his pocket for safety. However, it dropped out of it when we went up again.
"Catch it!" Harry said, but Neville's dancing feet kicked it, and it smashed on the stone below us. I gasped.
"I'b sorry," Neville said in anguish. "I didn't bean do..."
"It doesn't matter," Harry said, but, Neville spoke again, pointing.
"Dubbledore!"
"What?"
We looked around, we were only halfway up. Dumbledore was here, we were saved!
But it wasn't that easy.

Bellatrix and Sirius were the only pair standing, and constantly casting spells at each other. I saw the rage in Bellatrix' eyes. Sirius didn't seem to take it too serious.

Suddenly, it felt like my brain had a sort of vision, but not with images, only a feeling. I knew what she was going to do. I let go of Neville and stumbled, stick in hand, halfway down.
"Expelliarmus!" I screamed at Bellatrix, but I missed.
"Avada Kedavra!" Bellatrix screamed at the same moment, and she didn't miss. The curse hit Sirius.
I forgot that my back was hurting, ran to Sirius, and dropped the stick. I stopped a couple of feet away from him. I shook my head.
"No," I whispered, so soft I could barely hear it.
My world seemed to stand still. He smiled at me and at Neville and Harry behind me. Then he floated slowly, backwards into the veil. He was gone. I leapt forward, trying to grab him arm or something, but it was too late.
I fell back on my knees, staring into the veil. I was so shocked I couldn't even cry. This wasn't real. I didn't have a vision about this. It was just like last year, things happened that weren't supposed to.

But Harry apparently had energy left, because he talked to Lupin, that he could go after him, that he wasn't gone yet. I only heard half of their conversation. Harry then turned to Bellatrix, wanting to avenge his godfather, but Lupin held him back, and Harry let out a gut-wrenching scream, so all the hairs in my neck stood right up, and even Bellatrix hesitated. But it made me snap back to reality. My father, Sirius Black, was dead. Now the tears were coming. And they kept coming, but silently, as if even my eyes didn't want to accept his death.

I turned around, and felt my back again. Neville still lay on the ground, his legs still wriggling uncontrollably, and I saw he was also silently crying. I crawled to my stick, grabbed it, and stumbled back to Neville. Lupin and Harry joined us, Harry's face pale, too shocked about what happened.
"Finite," Lupin said, and Neville's legs were back to normal.
"This is a dreab," Neville whispered, tears streaming down his face. "It's dot real."
Lupin didn't answer.
Dumbledore was going in a rage after the Death Eaters, but Bellatrix escaped towards the room where our friends were lying.
Harry tore himself from Lupin and ran.
"Harry, no!"
"She killed Sirius!" he bellowed in fury.
