Professor Tofty took Harry out of the Great Hall, while everyone was watching. What happened?
We still had to finish our exam, but I made eye contact with Hermione and Ron, who also looked worried. As soon as we had to hand our paper in, we rushed out of the Hall.
"What is going on?" Ron asked.
"No idea," I said. "Where did they take him?"
"We'll go this way, maybe he's taken to the hospial wing," Hermione said.
"Come on, J, we'll look this way," Neville said.We went and searched the castle, but we didn't find Harry. We did find something else.
We decided to go to Umbridge's office, in case Harry had gotten into trouble or something. People kept walking away from that floor, though, and I frowned, and went upstairs. We found Luna and Ginny at the end of the corridor.
"What is going on?" I asked.
"Harry reckons Sirius is in danger, so he and Hermione went into Umbridge's office so he can check Grimmauld Place," Ginny answered.
"Sirius in danger?"
"Haven't you had a vision?" Neville asked.
I shook my head.
"This is bad."Umbridge suddenly walked into her office, furious, without noticing us.
"Not good," Luna whispered.
We went after her, to listen what was happening, when from behind someone grabbed Neville. The Inquisitorial Squad.
Warrington had Ron by his robes, whose lip was bleeding badly.
"Leave us alone!" I said, when Malfoy came smirking up to me.
"Well, well, well."
"What?" I said angrily. Malfoy hit me across the face.
"What is wrong with you?" I shouted, when suddenly another Slytherin grabbed me from behind and gagged me. I tried to break free, but it was no use.
"I always wanted to do that," Malfoy said, and took my wand.
"You won't be needing this," he said, as if he could read my mind. You could still use spells when not able to speak.
The others had in the meantime also been captured and gagged, and their protests were no use.Malfoy opened the door, and Millicent Bulstrode went to capture Hermione. We were pushed into the room, against the wall, and I was thrown so hard to Neville that I had to turn my head to not collide with his'. He was held so tight by Crabbe that his face started to turn purple. I tried to kick Crabbe, but my captor pulled me back hard, so my head hit the wall behind me.
"Got 'em all," Warrington said.
"Good," Umbridge said, who had found Harry, and pushed him into her chair. "It seems that the school will soon be Weasley-free, doesn't it?"
She looked satisfied."So Potter, clearly you wanted to talk to someone," she continued. "Was it Dumbledore? Or that half-breed Hagrid? I doubt it was McGonagall, she's still too ill to talk to anyone."
Malfoy laughed, and kept playing with Harry's wand, which he had stolen from him.
"It's none of your business who I talk to," Harry said furiously.
"Very well, I offered you a chance to speak freely, but since you refused, I have no other choice than to force you. Draco, please fetch Professor Snape."It was silent for a while when Malfoy left the room. I was still trying to get myself free, like the others.
"I'm highly disappointed in you two," Umbridge said to Neville and me. "I was hoping you'd join the Inquisitorial Squad, but it seems you'll go down with your silly little friends."
I stared furiously at her. There was no way I would ever have joined her side. The door opened.
"You wanted to see me, Headmistress?" Snape said.
"Yes, I would like another bottle of Veritaserum, as quick as possible."
"I am afraid you took my last bottle to interogate Potter. You should still have some, I said three drops would be enough."
"You can make some more then, can't you?" she said sweetly.
"Yes, I can indeed, that should be ready in a month."
"A month?" Umbridge said, furious once again. "But I need it now!"
"Unless you wish to poison Potter, and it would be my greatest pleasure if you did, I cannot help you."Snape turned to leave, but suddenly Harry spoke.
"He's got Padfoot!" he said loudly. "He's got Padfoot at the place where it's hidden!"
Snape stopped.
"Padfoot?" Umbridge said confused. "What is Padfoot? Where what is hidden? What does he mean, Snape?"
Suddenly, it made sense to me. Padfoot was Sirius, he was captured at the place where the weapon was hidden that Voldemort needed. While we thought no members of the Order were left, since McGonagall was probably in the hospital, Snape was still here, and he was the last member left here. I looked hopeful up at Snape.
"No idea," he said, and left.
