"Dear Cedric,

How are you? I hope you are having a good holiday. My brother and I have found a place to stay, and everything is well. I won't tell you where, because letters can still get into the wrong hands. Don't forget that we are all over the Daily Prophet, and you and I have witnessed You-Know-Who's comeback. It's not a secret anymore, of course, but I'm still afraid Death Eaters could come after us. I hope it will be safer at Hogwarts. Please answer by return owl.
I miss you.

Love, Jynx"

I rolled up the letter and gave it to Sofia.
"To Cedric, please."
And she was off. We had been at Lydia's for about a week, and it was really nice. Her parents were more comfortable with us, and we felt more at home now. When we weren't helping Lydia in their shop, we played Muggle card games or board games, although they found it a bit weird that we didn't know how to play.

I played with my wolf necklace as I watched Sofia disappear in the sky.
Less then a day later, Sofia returned safely with a letter.

"Dear Jynx,

I am fine, but just like you, I'm worried about what will happen. If I were still at Hogwarts, my father probably wouldn't have let me come back. I'm glad you have found somewhere to stay.
P.S: Your owl is so sweet.
Please stay safe, and I miss you too.

Cedric"

I smiled and rolled the letter back up. I also decided to send Ron a letter that we had a place to stay, since I didn't know where Hermione lived, and Harry was quite possibly at the Burrow.
A week later, we had unexpected post. An owl, which I recognised as Pig, Ron's owl, flew through our window. He had two rolls attached to his leg. My heart skipped a beat. We had told Dumbledore to send our O.W.L. results to the Burrow.
"Neville!" I called.

We opened the letters, and Neville's hands were even shaking.

I sighed in relief.
"Well, that's not too bad."
"Yeah," Neville sighed. "Could've been way worse. What did you get?"
"Well, I failed in Astronomy and Divination, but I saw that coming. You?"

I looked at his paper. He had an 'E' for Dark Arts and Charms, an 'O' for Herbology and an 'A' for Transfiguration and Potions. I mean, he didn't have any 'T''s, so he passed well.
"Nice," I grinned. "Good job, Nev."
"Thanks, I totally wasn't expecting this."
"Well, I think Herbology comes naturally, and Dark Arts is because of the DA."
"Yeah, but I can't see how I passed Potions."
He still looked surprised at his paper.
"Well, Snape wasn't around, how else did I get an 'E'?"
"That's true."
I smiled and sat back. Now I could become a Healer, I knew it.

We were even more joyful the days after. We received news that Harry and Hermione were both at the Burrow, and maybe we would come and join them soon. Lupin also informed us that they had moved Grimmauld Place temporarily for safety. As soon as we would receive our school list, we would go to Gringotts and buy our supplies.
But later, he wrote that Bill, who worked at Gringotts, would pick us up to get the gold, and immediately put Harry's part in his own vault.
