Okay so for the black spots in his skull I put black on 10%, then filled it, then proceeded to make nine more layers to blend in more black, each one going down one percent. Idk if it's visible here, but it's a thing I did to attempt some form of depth. I think you can see it's just ever so slightly lighter around the circular part of his eye, but again, idk. In addition, Martyn's all pale and stuff to point out that he is no longer ALIVE like the other Lifers would have been (except for Skizz and Mumbo as they had shared his fate by then), but his clothes remained bright as they were before. The dirt and damage was supposed to 'dim' it in its own way, but you can't see the dirt yet lol

Colors are hard😔 I messed around with two different skull colors for the longest time, as well as the little bit of brain sticking out there. Not to get too gross, but I've seen bits of it before(my dad attempted taxidermy once. Key word being ONCE.) and tried to use that as my base. My friend taught me a trick for wounds and injuries, which I tried to apply with the bit of muscle peeking through.
