Halfway through when I had no shading other than whatever I was doing with his hair and was using an actual image of him as reference to what I was doing. It's mostly the same except for the shirt's visible and the buckles, reflective strips, and all the pockets.

I don't know if you can see it with the image quality, but he's supposed to have a bunch of little glowy freckles like sparks or embers on his face(if you can't see it, lemme know so I can screenshot and show you his face up close so you can see). His eyes glow(the light didn't vibe with his skin color so I had to erase it where it wasn't around the eye) and the shadows were being a bit difficult which is why I only blurred the one around his neck. Idk why I left the little wavy things in his hair tbh. My brain decided it liked them and so I kept them. I think it was an attempt at a fire design or something of the sort but didn't do anything. Now his fingers are covered in redstone dust(it glows from energy caused by the transfer of kinetic energy/activated redstone/being in close proximity to a redstone block or torch), which I decided that at least here stains everything awfully easily and doesn't like to get cleaned out so it's pretty common to see redstoners with permanently red fingers/stained clothes. Hence all the red stuff on his pouches. However, going back to idea for fire theme with Tango's hair, I did make it sorta glow around the edges–he's always got some flame simmering across his head, it just isn't visible most of the time. It flares up and makes his hair look like it's been consumed by flames if he experiences strong emotions(prime examples of this often occurring in the Life Series).

I tried to draw Etho but his head isn't the same size as his face :(
I have no idea what I was trying to do with those ears but I knew I HAD to make it happen. Heck if I know what he is. Could be a rabbit, fox, even a deer, idk.
Anyway just a silly flop I thought might be fun to share. NOW I'm done :)
