Sakura's eyes widened in disbelief, flicking back and forth between Itachi and me, trying to fit the image of this man and me together. She was probably only just seeing the resemblance between us, our eyes, hair, and how we compose ourselves.
"Itachi... yes. he's the boy who murdered his entire clan," hummed Chiyo before staring into the back of my skull. "Seems like he missed one."
"Long time no see, Naruto, Kakashi," Itachi greeted his eyes boring into mine and he probably thought I'd cower back once I realise the intensity of his gaze, but I don't because I'm not the same girl as I was before. "And my foolish little sister."
How am I foolish? I haven't done anything to give him that idea, haven't I?
His words angered me, but I bit into my lip to calm myself down so that I wouldn't appear weak in front of him. "Who do you think you are?! You come for me, kidnap Gaara. I'm gonna take you out!" Naruto's voice rang out, his finger pointed accusingly at Itachi.
Slowly, Itachi raised his hand. "Nobody look directly into his eyes, it's dangerous!" Kakashi announced.
All of them averted there eyes instantly the moment Kakashi ordered, making sure that they don't fall into Itachi's Genjutsu. All of them, except me, with my sharingan already activated, I won't be caught in his illusions.
"What are we supposed to do?!" Sakura exclaimed quietly.
"Read his movements from body and footwork. Itachi is an ocular jutsu. He holds his target by the eyes. So if you don't meet his." Kakashi's said to me and I roll my eyes.
"I know that," I said coolly looking at him with my sharingan. "I have known since the beginning."
"This won't go easy," Sakura mumbled.
"Several strategies deal with ocular Jutsu," Chiyo declared.
"Well? What do we do?!" Naruto finally burst out.
"You could always leave it to me," I said to them, if only they would let me deal with it, though I don't know if I could hold back. "But I would not wish to harm him too badly."
Chiyo nodded in agreement before her eyes furrow, trying to think of a strategy. "If it's one-on-one, you run. Two-on-one, get on his back. Even if one falls under the genjutsu, they can be released if the other gets behind the enemy and lands an attack. And if that doesn't work, you can free your comrade by giving them a whack too. In other words, when you're two or more, one acts as a decoy while the others attack continuously from the Sharingan's blind spot."
"I understand," Sakura said.
"Heh, there's some old age and wisdom for you," Naruto said with a smirk.
