Audrey returned from hogsmead an hour before dinner, her dorm was empty when she got there, as luna was 'preparing for a blood moon'

she flopped onto her bed, exhausted from walking.

she stood up slowly, and changed into her pajamas.

deciding to take a quick nap before dinner.

luna and ginny stormed into her dorm at least theee hours later, waking Audrey. "where's the fire?" she groaned, rubbing her eyes.

"oh my godric, Audrey! you slept through the most important dinner of our hogwarts life!" ginny exclaimed, flinging her arms in the air.

"what are you talking about?" Audrey said picking her head up, "they're having a ball!" ginny squealed excitedly.

"ginny," luna said softly, "oh right," she sighed before explaining the triwizard tournament.

Audrey's jaw fell open listening to her explain everything dumbledore said, "wait krum, is here?" Audrey gasped.

"yes!" ginny said throwing herself on to Audrey bed, Audrey absolutely loved quidditch, and krum.

"why didn't you guys come get me?" Audrey groaned, laying back in her bed. "and tell more about this ball."

***

Audrey tossed and turned all night, unable to fall asleep from because of her nap, and growling stomach.

she quietly stepped out of bed, careful not to wake a snoring luna, grabbed her wand, and slipped out of the room.

at first she was just aimlessly walking, admiring the castle, until she remembered the twins told her how to get into the kitchen.

she quietly walked to the dungeons, wand out to supply her light, being careful not to run into a professor, or filch.

she approached the portrait the boys explained to her, and tickled the pear.

the portrait swung open, to reveal the magnificent kitchens of Hogwarts, and a red headed boy, sat on a counter with a bowl of ice cream.

"Audrey," he said, meeting her eyes. "what are you doing here?" he sat his bowl down while wiping his mouth, appearing to be quite uncomfortable.

"i'm hungry," she said, looking down at her feet, now feeling embarrassed.

"right," Ron said, shaking his head quickly.

a house elf ran up to Audrey eager to help her, "how my i help you, miss?" the little elf squeaked.

"pb an j, and some warm cookies?" she asked, and the elf nodded before sprinting away, Audrey made her way over to Ron, and sat herself next to him.

"so, where were you? at dinner i mean, i noticed you weren't there." he asked, now looking over at her.

"i was sleeping," she shrugged, he laughed, but truly he found it cute. "what! i like naps," she defended herself, after hearing him laugh at her.

he leaned towards her, bumping they're shoulders together. "i never said there was something wrong with that, did i?" he smirked.

"you laughed at me!" she explained, now laughing herself, playing with her gold charm bracelet.

the elf had returned, with a plate of cookies, and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with the crust cut off.

"thank you!" she said, gratefully.
the elf nodded before running away again.

Audrey picked up her sandwich, noticing Ron eying her cookies, "Ronald," she said.

"what- yes?" he said, she pushed her plate towards him, "you can have a cookie," she giggled, as he graciously accepted.

"thank you," he said, with a mouth full of food, Audrey found it oddly cute.

"so, the triwizard tournament," Ron said, as he swallowed his food. "Fred and George wanna put they'res names in,"

"what?" she gasped, "wait, they're not even old enough." realizing that the boys were only 16, and had to be 17 to enter.

"they think they can work around it some how," he shrugged, "i highly doubt that, it's the law."

"i guess we'll see," he said, Audrey noticed a bit of chocolate on the corner of his mouth.

"oh," she smiled, "hold still," she said grabbing a napkin.

she reached her arm to his face, and gently wiped away the chocolate.

suddenly Rons face was incredibly hot, and very very red.

"erm, thanks." he coughed, trying to hide his obvious embarrassment.

Ron and Audrey stayed in the kitchen for much, much longer, telling each other about they're days.

"no! you're lying!" she laughed listening to Ron talk about Fred and George, setting off a incredibly weird bomb in his potions class, that made everyone blue.

the twins had somehow snuck in, and left just before the chaos.

"i am not," he grinned, "you should've seen snapes face! bloody brilliant it was."

Audrey laughed, trying to imagine the scene.

"although, i'm still trying to get some blue out of my ear." he said, still grinning from ear to ear.

"oh that, is funny." she smiled up at him, "the twins are truly my spirit animal."

Ron only chuckled lightly in reply, silence filling the room.

"you know, this is really nice." Audrey said suddenly, not even quite sure was she was going with this.

"what is?" his eyebrows knitted together, staring into her brown eyes.

"this, us," she tried to explain, "i just don't need to put on a show for you,"

"oh yeah?" he asked, "yeah, i think your the only person who truly knows me, i can sit here with you and just be me. messy hair, no makeup, in my pajamas, while i stuff my face with food. and i don't feel like i need to be talking all the time, the silence is nice sometimes, it feels good to just be with you."

"it feels good to be with you too Audrey,"
