the car pulled up to a tall house, and Audrey was obsessed.
it was beautiful, and looked like it was being held up by mostly magic.
"this is your house?" Audrey asked, looking out of Ron's window.
as the drive progress, Ron's jealously subsided, as Harry and Audrey hadn't even spoken the entire car ride.
"i know, it's not much but-" he shrugged, as Fred parked the car.
"what, its amazing!" she interrupted, and she really did believe it.
it was a nice change from her muggle house, you could practically feel the magic pouring out of it.
"you think so?" he asked, smiling as he look down at the starstruck girl.
"i really do," she nodded, unbuckling her seatbelt.
they all squeezed out of the car, getting they're trunks out of the back.
Ron carried his and Audrey's trunks inside, Fred and George in front of them.
they walked into the house, and Audrey had fallen even more in love.
it was warm and comforting, and it smelled delicious.
"so," Ron said, setting the trunks down so they could talk. "you know, my parents aren't home."
she smiled, already knowing where he was going with this.
"and no one here is gonna care," he explained, "do you wanna sleep in my room?"
he looked so nervous and cute to even ask, it made it even better.
"mhm," she hummed, grabbing his face, and pulling him down to kiss her.
Ginny walked past, holding her trunk and gave a fake gag.
"get a room," she said, pretending that she wasn't thrilled for the two of them.
"we got one," Audrey whispered, inches from his mouth.
after they unpacked they're things and got settled in, it was time for dinner.
as they're were no adults, they decided Audrey and Hermione would be responsible for dinner.
as Audrey was a good cook, and Hermione was, well Hermione.
"so, i'll make mac and cheese, you got the sandwiches?" Audrey asked, filling the pot with water.
"mhm," Hermione nodded, looking for the bread.
Hermione had been weird with Audrey ever since her and Ron started dating, and Audrey was sure she knew why.
she had seen the wishful looks, longing and sad.
but it wasn't fault that Ron didn't want Hermione, right?
she poured the noodles into the boiling water, making a bit of a splash.
Ron walked in as Audrey found a spoon, and immediately made his way to her.
"hey love," Ron said, standing behind her, slipping his arms around her waist.
Audrey couldn't help but feel bad for Hermione, she knew how she was feeling.
"hey," she said, mustering out a smile.
"whatcha making?" he asked, his stomach growling.
"mac and cheese and chicken sandwiches," she said, stirring the noodles. "there's not much here, so i think me and Ginny are gonna go grocery shopping tomorrow."
"okay, but after that your mine alright?" he asked, stepping away from her.
"okay," she smiled, nodding her head as she looked back at him.
Audrey wasn't attention to Hermione anymore, but her heart was breaking.
Hermione has fancied Ron since first year, and she was only with Krum to try and make him jealous, but it hadn't worked.
Ron was more concerned if he could get a picture with him in all honesty.
all Hermione wanted was Ron, and now Audrey had him.
the girl's finished making dinner, and brought the pot of mac and cheese, and the plate of sandwiches to the table, along with a stack of plates and forks.
once Audrey got to sick down, they're was only one seat left, and it was right across from Ron.
sure she preferred to sit next to him, but this worked to.
she sat down, in between Ginny and harry, Ron did not like this.
on the other hand, Audrey didn't think anything of it. as it was the only seat, and it was right across from her boyfriend.
she picked a sandwich off the plate and on to hers, before taking a spoon or two of mac and cheese.
"Hermione these are really good," Audrey said as she swallowed the first bite of her sandwich.
"thanks," Hermione said, picking through her mac and cheese.
Audrey watched, thinking they're might be something wrong with it.
so she took a bite herself, and it was amazing.
it was probably the best mac and cheese Audrey had ever made, so she didn't know why Hermione wouldn't eat it.
Ron on the other hand was demolishing it, he was already getting seconds.
this made Audrey much happier.
