"oh Audrey your finally back!" Ron said as she walked through the door, practically throwing himself on her.

"hi Ronnie," she said as she tried to warm up, still freezing from walking home.

"bleh," Ginny gagged, pushing past them.

he let go of her, and her and Ginny brought the bags into the kitchen.

"so," Ron hummed, leaning over the counter. "i thought tomorrow we could go do something, just the two of us?"

Ginny just up and left at this point.

"oh really?" she smiled, unpacking the bags.

"yeah, i never got to take you on a date before we got together." he explained, helping her out the groceries away.

"very true," she hummed, swinging the fridge door open.

"so it that a yes?" he asked hopeful.

"of course," she smiled, looking at the red head boy.

the next morning Audrey got up, and took a shower.

it was hard to find time for everyone to shower with only one bathroom and seven people, three of which were girls.

she rung her hair out in the sink, standing in only a towel.

she brushed through her hair, before scrunching it, embracing her natural waves as she wanted to leave her hair down today.

she reached for her clothes, before realizing she had forgotten them in Ron's room.

"fuck," she whispered, looking down at her towel.

she opened the door, and tip toed to Ron's bedroom.

she cracked the door open, knowing Ron was still in bed.

she walked in, finding Ron sitting up, awake.

"oh hello," he smiled, face going red as he looked at the practically naked, and dripping wet girl.

"i just, forgot my clothes." she said, picking them up off her trunk.

"i'm not complaining," he whispered, watching her bend over.

"Ron!" she giggled, shocked by his boldness.

"what! your hot." he said, raising his arms in defense.

"shut up," she said, leaving his room with a bright red face.

she changed into her jeans and sweater, before trying to get her hair dry as possible without using a hair dryer.

"you look nice," Ron said as she walked back into his room.

"why thank you," she said, sitting in the floor to do her makeup. "so what are we doing on this date?"

"that's a surprise," he smiled, climbing out of his bed. "that's part of me planning a date, rey."

"you've never taken me on a date before! how would i know?" she defended, setting up her mirror.

he shrugged, placed a kiss on her forehead, before taking his clothes and towel to the bathroom.

while Ron showered, she did her makeup, and he came back into the room at the perfect time.

"you know you really don't need makeup," he said, closing the door behind him.

"but i like it," she said, looking up at him.

"i know, but you don't need it." he shrugged.

Ron lead her outside and through the woods, hands over her eyes.

"please don't make me run into any trees," Audrey said, as they walked farther and farther in.

"i won't!" he defended, seeing they're destination approaching.

they walked a bit further, and they were finally there.

"and, tada." he said, taking his hands off her eyes and showing off what he did.

he had set up a picnic.

it was by the lake at they're house, which was frozen over at the moment.

"Ron, this is adorable." she smiled, as he lead her to the blanket.

"isn't it?" he said, unpacking the picnic basket.

he had enchanted all the food to stay good and warm, or cold it if was supposed to be.

which meant he started planning this before they left hogwarts, as he wouldn't have been able to use magic.

he packed grape juice and butter beer, mac and cheese, grilled cheese, bacon, biscuits and jam, and fresh cut fruit.

"it's brunch," he explained, surprising Audrey that he even knew what that word meant. "or, at least i think it is, Hermione explained it to meant."

"you did good Ron, really." she smiled, pouring him a glass of butter beer, and her a glass of grape juice.

"you mean it?" he asked, a hopeful look in his eyes.

"i do."
