it was the next day, and Audrey was back at hogwarts.

she decided to listen to her aunt, and talk to her boyfriend.

it was still early, and breakfast hadn't started yet.
so Audrey knew he'd be in his dorm still.

she stood in front of his door, trying to think of what to say to him.

she tucked her necklace into her robes as she knocked softly.

neville opened the door just a second later, "hey Audrey," he said, smiling as he let her in.

"hey nev," she said, but she wasn't looking at neville.

her and dean made eye contact as she walked closer to him.

she could see how annoyed he still was with her, making her nervous.

"hey buddy, could we get some privacy?" dean rolled his ask, indicating for him to leave.

he nodded, walking out the door.

"so, what do you want?" he said, packing his book bag.

"to speak to my boyfriend," she said, closing the gap between them slowly.

"where were you yesterday?" he asked, anger growing in his voice.

"i went home, lacy woke up." she said, trying to look at his face, he stopped packing for a moment. "that's great Audrey," he said, looking down at her.

"yeah, she wants to meet you." she explained, "but i'm not letting you meet her till we get on good terms."

"i- i understand." he said, his eyes softening as he looked at her.

"i'm sorry you don't like me hanging out with Fred and George," she explained, "but i'm not going to stop, they've been my friends for years, and that's not going to change."

"but, don't you think that's disrespectful to me?" he asked, "no, i don't."

"you hang out with lavender brown, and Hermione, but i don't get mad, because i trust you." she said.

"but how am i supposed to trust you when you've never given me a reason to?" he asked, she could hear him starting to get mad.

"i've also never gave you a reason to not, trust me." she said softly, trying to keep him calm.

"yes but-" he said, trying to think of a comeback.
"i'm sorry." he said, grabbing her hands.

"i forgive you, dean." She said, pulling him into a hug.

"cmon, let's go get breakfast." he said, bringing her to the door.

they held hands, as they walked to the great hall.

Audrey was so thankful to be in good terms with him again, but she couldn't help but think about Ron.

she wanted him back so badly, but she knew this was all her fault.

"come on, sit with the Gryffindors just this once." he said, trying to pull her towards the Gryffindor table.
"luna and cho can have you later, right now your mine."

"fine," she said, letting him pull her.

she had been cautious about being around Gryffindors with dean, not wanting to have to see Ron's hurt face.

"hey Audrey," ginny said, as the two sat next to her.
"how's lacy doing?" she asked.

Audrey saw as Ron turned to them, listening to they're conversations.

"she's good," She smiled, trying to not look at him.
"well, she's awake."

"it's progress," dean said, rubbing his hand up and down her back.
