"i think thanksgiving went well," isa said, as she handed Audrey her bags.

"i agree," she smiled as she took them. "i'm gonna miss you."

"i'm gonna miss you more," she said, wrapping her arms around Audrey.

Audrey's and isa let go of each other, and she made her way to lacy's room.

"hey i've got to go," she said, walking into her bedroom.

"right, we'll come hug me." she said, smiling at the girl in the doorway.

Audrey obeyed, wrapping her arms tightly around lacy.

"bye darling," she whispered into her ear. "bye lace,"

Audrey walked outside, and into the cab she had called for.

"kings cross station, ma'am." she said to the driver, as she buckled her seat belt.

they drove to the train station in silence, and it gave Audrey a chance to think.

thanksgiving with deans family had gone surprisingly well, not even one mishap. Audrey was happy of course, but surprised. it all felt so easy, almost to easy.

"we're here miss," the driver said, as she came to a stop. "thanks," Audrey said, handing her cash.

she took her bags and walked into the train station.

and it was full of her classmates trying to get on to the platform.

she saw ginny's red shiny hair, and she could feel her excitement grow.

"gin, wait up!" she called out, hurrying to catch up with them.

"Audrey!" ginny said, turning around to face her.

Audrey wrapped her arms around ginny, catching her off guard.

"i've missed you," she said as she pulled away, "how was your holiday?" she asked, taking no notice of Ron, who was standing right next to ginny.

the girls continued to walk to the platform, giving each other every detail about they're time at home.

"so it was good, then?" ginny asked, as Audrey finished explaining thanksgiving with the Thomas family.

"it was easy," she said as they made it to the wall. "almost to easy,"

"you want, conflict?" Ginny asked, very clearly referring to Ron who was running through a wall currently.

"no," she rolled her eyes, "it just worries me that nothing went wrong, now what if next time it all goes wrong."

"your overthinking all of this Audrey," she laughed, "now cmon, the twins are already on the train."

she then ran through the wall, Audrey close behind her.

platform nine and three quarters was also packed, full of students and they're parents.

the train let out a gush of steam, as ginny and Audrey made they're way to it.

they roamed the halls, looking for luna, or cho, or even neville. "you know, i don't think cho went home," Audrey said, looking through the window of the cart.

"i don't think nev did either," she sighed, "cmon let's just go sit with Hermione."

"you really want me to sit with Ron for the entire train ride?" she scoffed in annoyance. "yes i do."

they quickly found the trio, who all seemed to be huddled together whispering.

"these seats taken?" ginny said, pushing the door open.

the whispering had stopped at once, all taken notice of Audrey standing behind ginny.

"um, no," harry muttered, falling back into his seat. "great, thanks," ginny said as she put her bag above his head.

ginny then sat in between Ron and Hermione, leaving Audrey to sit with harry.

she put her bags in the over head bin, and sat on the opposite side of harry.

"so, how was your holiday Audrey?" Hermione asked, trying to defuse the tension.

"um- it was good, yeah." she said, playing with her charm bracelet. "how was yours?"

"it was alright," Hermione said, she truly felt bad for Audrey.

"harry, did you have a nice holiday?" Audrey said, turning her head to him. her and harry had spoken a few times, but it was always pretty brief.

"yeah, i did thank you." he smiled, feeling included.
"did you go back to your aunt and uncle's?" she asked, pinching down on the scab on her wrist.

"no actually i went to ginny and Rons house," he explained.

Audrey only hummed in response.

Audrey could feel Rons eyes burning threw her, he was looking at her neck, he was looking at the necklace.

she knew how mad this must be making him, she had completely ignored his existence.

these was going to be one quiet ride.

"so, how are you and dean?" Hermione asked, taking a quick glance at Rons face as she said his name.

"we're good actually," Audrey said as she fiddled with her bracelet. "i just met his family."

"oh that's wonderful," Hermione smiled, Ron did not.

ginny cleared her throat, almost as a signal for Hermione to stop asking questions.

the door slid open quickly, revealing two tall gingers.

"Cmon auds," Fred said as he stood in the doorway. "why are you sitting in, here." he said, looking to Ron.

"i was just talking to Hermione and harry," she rolled her eyes, but still stood up.

she reached for her bags, but it seemed to have fallen out of her reach.

George glided through the compartment, making his way to her side. he reached up and grabbed the bags with ease.

"thanks," she muttered, trying to take her bags, but George held them tightly.

everyone heard Ron suddenly scoff, presumably at his brother.

this only made George smirk, glad to have annoyed him without even trying.
