Audrey left deans dorm, well past her curfew.
but instead of going to her dorm, she went to Ron's.
she knocked, but received no answer.she opened the door slowly, peaking her head inside.
"ron?" she whispered.no answer, and no Ron.
she made her way down the stairs, and out of the common room.
she walked down to the dungeons carefully, keeping her eye out for any professors.
she tickled the pear, and let the portrait open.
she walked into the kitchen and found just the red head she was looking for.
he was sitting in the counter, head hung low while he picked at his skin.
"Ron," she whispered, he lifted his head to look at her, making eye contact.
his face was red and swollen, eyes blood shot and sad.
"here to tell me off?" he scoffed, letting his head fall.
"no," she said, walking towards him. "i'm here to thank you."
"for what?" he said, she pushed herself on to the counter top, and sat next to him. "protecting me, or trying to at least."
"it was sweet, but dean didn't do anything to me, i never even went in his room." she explained, watching him stare at his own hands.
"oh," Ron said, getting of the counter and onto his feet. "well, that's good."
"where are you going?" she asked, "you didn't even eat anything," she said looking at his untouched sandwich.
"you smell like his cologne," he said, he missed her normal smell, it was so comforting to him, but now, now she smelled like him.
"what?" she said, brows knitted together. "you smell like his cologne, i lost my appetite."
he began to walk away, trying to leave her.
"Ron wait," she said, getting off and counter and following him.
"please, let's just talk," she pleated, grabbing his shoulder to stop him from leaving.
"oh okay," he scoffed, "let's talk."
he turned to face her, shoving her hand off of him.
"let's talk about you being a slut."Audrey was taken aback, her lips parted as she stared up at him.
"what.." she muttered, eyes burning with tears.
"i saw you last night, rubbing your ass on dean." he said, running his hand through his hair. "have you fucked him yet?"
"excuse me?" she growled, keeping her voice quiet.
"oh you heard me," he said, feeling his eyes fill with tears. "we almost kissed, Audrey!"
"yeah, and it'll never happen again!" she said, a tear slipping down her cheek. "that was the biggest mistake of my life."
"my biggest mistake was being your friend!" he said, "you were never my friend!" she cried, playing with her charm bracelet.
"i was a better friend then you've ever been!" he said, the houses elf's were now taking notice of the situation, and they had started listening in.
"fuck you! i came here to apologize to you, and for what?" her tears streaming down her face, mascara running.
"whatever Audrey," he scoffed, "whatever this was, is done, for good."
and which that Ron left Audrey sobbing.
she waited a few minutes, letting him get a head start. she wiped her tears but it was no use, she couldn't stop crying.
she tucked the necklace Ron bought into her shirt, and left the kitchens.
she sobbed quietly, sneaking through the halls.
"hey!" said a voice behind her, "shit.." she muttered.
she turned around and saw it was hufflepuff prefect, Cedric, who Audrey had never met.
"you do realize what time it is right?" he said, walking towards Audrey, holding his lantern out.
"oh," he said, eyes falling on her tear soaked face.
"it's Audrey, chos friend, right?" he asked, lowering his lantern."uh yeah," she said, wiping her face with her sleeve.
"listen, i'll give you a pass just this once if you promise to go back to your dorm right now,""thank you, i was on my way anyway." she said, making eye contact with the older boy.
"alright, be careful, i'm not the only prefect out right now."
