"are you not coming to dinner?" cho asked, as she packed up her things.
"no, i've got to study if i wanna pass my exam tomorrow, history of magic is kicking my arse."
she explained, turning a page her book."okay girl, just make sure you eat something." she said, standing up from the table. "yes mum," she joked, looking up at her friend.
"ha, ha." she rolled her eyes, before leaving.
Audrey continued to read the same book for an hour, having to reread almost every page because it just wasn't sticking.
she was exhausted, from getting up early, packing, unpacking, and now studying.
she put her head in her palm, as she could feel herself dozing off, but she was desperately trying to fight it.
she really needed to get this done.
her eyelids fluttered open, she was lying in bed, a bit of sunlight coming in.
"good morning, gorgeous." the redhead muttered, cuddling in closer. "good morning," she smiled, admiring his beautiful face in the warm sunlight.
"i'm hungry," he muttered, eyes not even open yet.
"but that means getting up," she replied, trying to nuzzle her way into his chest as she let her eyes close again."not exactly," he muttered, chuckling lightly.
"what do you mean?" she asked, "i could always just eat you," he whispered into her ear, feeling his hot breath on her.
"Ron!" she laughed, eyes opening as she backed away to look at him. "what!" he exclaimed, finally opening his eyes to see her. "you liked it last night."
"i- well-" she stuttered, at a loss for words. "yes but- but that was different!"
"mhmm," he hummed, pulling her back into his chest.
she was overwhelmed with his smell, so comforting and familiar.
"you know i love you, right?" he said, his chin on her head. he already knew the answer, he just liked to ask occasionally.
"i love you too, Ronnie."
"fuck!" she exclaimed, as her head smacked down onto her book.
she had fallen asleep, and the library was empty. "it's time to go to your dormitory, ma'am." madam pince said, as she took the book from her table.
"sorry, miss." she said, as she hurried to pick up her book bag.
it was well last curfew, and Audrey was genuinely surprised that madam pince hadn't kicked her out sooner.
she felt her stomach growl, and remembered cho's words, so she decided to go to the kitchen before bed.
she tickled the pear as it giggled, portrait door swinging open.
"Audrey?" it was that familiar voice that she had missed so much. "Ron," she said, the portrait door closing on itself.
"we've really got to stop meeting like this," he joked, referring to what she said the last time they had ran into each other in the kitchen.
"yeah," she said quietly, trying to forget about her dream.
"uhm, mac and cheese?" he asked, holding his bowl out.
