"you, are gorgeous Audrey." lacy said as she ran her fingers through Audrey's hair, who was crying, with her head on lacy's lap.

"but he doesn't think so!" she sobbed, "he wants her! not me" before hogwarts Audrey had went yo muggle schools, and when she was only ten, she experienced her first heartbreak, when her crush for two years, held hands with her only friend.

"he's an idiot baby," Audrey would be over this whole thing in two weeks, but right now it truly felt like the end of the world. "no lace he's not, he's perfect! he's so smart, and he's so nice, and he's the cutest boy i have ever seen!"

"why can't he just like me?"

"he's not perfect for you Audrey," you will find your perfect, and he will be wonderful, but they're will be trial and error, love is hard, this is just a little error sweetheart."

"be careful audrey!" lacy exclaimed, holding three year old Isabella's hand, as they watched six year old Audrey run on the concrete, grinning ear to ear.

just as she reached the door to they're flat, she forgot about the step and tripped, falling face first, cutting her knee and chin.

"oh no," lacy muttered, quickening her pace to reach a now crying Audrey, "is she okay mummy?" Isa asked, looking up at her mom with a frown.

"here, let me see honey."  Audrey rolled over and sat on her butt, showing her cuts to lacy. "it hurts," she whimpered, tears rolling down her face.

"i know, i know," she scooped Audrey up off the ground, holding her as Audrey wrapped her arms around her aunts neck. "cmon Isabella," she grabbed her daughters hand, and brought the girls inside.

"go play, i'm gonna clean her up and then we can make dinner, okay?" lacy explained as she dropped her daughters hand, "okay mummy," lacy could feel Audrey's tears began to soak through her shirt onto her skin, she was really starting to break lacy's heart.

she brought Audrey into the bathroom, and sat her on the counter, "one second baby," she said, as she searched for the bandages under the cabinet.

she soaked a wash cloth with warm water, before patting the blood of her chin and knee.

"this might burn for just one second, okay?" she explained as she poured the cleaning solution onto the wet cloth, and began to clean her cuts while Audrey cried harder, more and more tears fell.

lacy bandaged her knee and chin, before grabbing her cheeks and placing a light kiss on her forehead.

"no need to cry," she wiped her tears, as Audrey sniffed. "all better."

Audrey walked into they're apartment and found a half awake Isa on the couch the tv light reflecting on her face, but she wasn't watching it.

they're eyes met, Audrey had missed her so much.

"Audrey," she exclaimed, standing up quickly to hug her.

Isa wrapped her arms around Audrey's neck tightly, she had never needed her sister/cousin more.

"is lacy okay?" Audrey sniffled into Isa's neck, hiding her tears as best as she could.

"no, no, she's not." Isa pulled out of the hug to look her in the eyes, "Audrey her spine is broken, she'll never walk again."
