new years eve

it was new year's eve, and Ginny and Audrey were beyond excited.

the party starts at 10pm, but they instructed they're close friends to come at 8pm to help set up, and hang out.

Fred and George had invited practically the entire school, including Slytherins.

Audrey just hoped they didn't mean Draco.

"oh come off it," Ginny scoffed as she helped Audrey make breakfast. "Draco Malfoy would never willingly come to my house."

"i don't know Gin," Audrey said, mixing together the pancake mix. "he's been extra dickish lately, he might come just to be an arse."

"well i won't let him in," Ron said as he walked through the kitchen door, spooking Audrey.

"exactly," Ginny said, smile on her face.

it was 6pm, and the party was finally getting closer.

Ginny, Audrey, and Hermione were all in Ginnys room getting ready, trying to use Audrey's muggle hair products.

"okay, i have a curling iron, and a flat iron," she said, looking to the girls.

"which one's easier?" Ginny asked, never using a tool like this before.

"definitely flat iron," Hermione said, Audrey nodding along.

"but her hairs already straight, there'd be no point." Audrey said, plugging in the curling iron.

"whatever i'll just leave it how it is," Ginny gave up, before starting on her makeup.

Hermione borrowed Audrey's straightener, and attempted to tame her hair.

while Audrey used the curling iron, struggling to make her hair hold.

times like this she really wished she could use magic outside of school.

almost an hour later she finally finished her hair, and ginny finished her makeup, being the first one ready, she started picking out everyone's outfit.

"Hermione, how about this?" she said, pulling a dress out of her closet.

"that's much more Audrey," she said, trying to finish the last section of her hair.

"okay fine," she rolled her eyes, turning to Audrey. "Audrey, how about this?"

it was a short black dress, with a bit of extra fabric on the side.

"yeah, that's super cute." she smiled, as she began on her makeup.

the girls finally finished getting ready, and now it was time for clothes and finishing touches.

Audrey put on her dress Ginny picked out, having her tie the back.

she wore gold dangly earrings, and gold heels.
