TW: vomit
"Audrey her spine is broken, she'll never walk again." her voice cracked as she began to sob.
Audrey's heart dropped, deep into her stomach.
her breath quickened, her vision blurred as the tears fell, her face was hot and burning.her breath got faster and faster until her lungs were empty and no air could enter them, "i-" she tried to talk but nothing would come out, until it did.
she gagged, and gagged.
before running to the bathroom, "Audrey?" Isa exclaimed with a sniffle as she followed her to the bathroom.
Audrey fell over the toilet as the vomit came, while Isa quickly held her hair.
Audrey whimpered as she stood up from the toilet, falling against the wall. "she- won't walk?" she asked, wiping the puke of her mouth.
"no, she'll need a wheelchair to get around." she explained, "good thing our apartments on the first floor," Audrey said as she pushed off the wall.
"we can go see her first thing tomorrow," Isa explained, "but she hasn't woken up yet."
"great," she said, as she washed the puke and toilet germs off into the sink. "get some sleep." she sniffled wiping the tears off her face.
"are you okay?" Isa asked, looking up at Audrey.
"i'll be fine," she said, flicking the light off as she left. "come get me if you need anything,"Audrey never had a good way of coping, her feelings always seemed so big.

"i'm here for lacy laur-hammond," Audrey spoke to the lady at the front desk as she typed on the computer.
"room 207, upstairs to your left." she said, eyes never leaving the screen.
"cmon," Audrey muttered to her cousin, making her way to the stairs.
207.
Audrey opened the door slowly, revealing a nurse checking her aunts vitals.
"hello again Isabella, we've got some good news today." he said grinning ear to ear.
"what is it?" Audrey said quickly, "her eyes, they've started moving back and forth."
"really?" isa said hopeful, excitedly making her way to lacy, "here, check it out."
the nurse ran two fingers down lacy's arm as Audrey watched from afar.
her eyes twitched before rolling to the left.
it was actually more creepy then exciting, her eyes rolling around in their sockets, unable to open them.
Audrey wondered if she could hear, or think, or if she was simply asleep.
"i'll give you two some time," the nurse smiled, before exiting the room.
Audrey examined lacy, she had never seen her like this, she looked completely lifeless.
her eye bags were prominent, her hair was ratty, and her lips were chapped and slightly bleeding.
"i was here yesterday, they want us to try to talk to her to get her brain working. i'm gonna go get us some water, talk to her."
isa left Audrey alone, standing in front the hospital bed.
"hey lace," she said softly, making her way to the armchair left to her aunts bed.
"i'm not even sure you can hear me, but isa says they want us to talk to you." she sat down awkwardly and played with her charm bracelet, she had never been so uncomfortable.
"you look like shit you know," she laughed, but she didn't mean it, lacy was always beautiful. "i mean, you don't even have mascara on, i don't think i've ever seen you without it."
"you know you made me cry, in front of Ronald freaking Weasley, that's a new low for me."
she stared at lacy, waiting patiently for her to wake up, for lacy to tell her it was all gonna be okay, but she didn't.
"cmon," a single tear fell, "your not really gonna do this are you? i know you like naps but this is a new level lace,"
"you can't do this to me, i have to go back to school tomorrow, and Isa will be alone, again. you have a responsibility to us, your gonna have to wake up soon."
Audrey knew she would wake up eventually, but the doctors said it could take several weeks or months, but they didn't have that kind of time.
A/N: i can't tell if this is dramatic or not?
