game day

it was Friday, and the first quidditch game of the year.

Ravenclaw versus Hufflepuff, which meant cho and Cedric were against each other.

"listen Ced, after the game, we'll go back to normal." cho said as the three of them walked to breakfast.

"but for now, we're competitors." she explained, "i'm not taking it easy on you just because your my boyfriend."

"understood, gorgeous." Cedric said, kissing her on the cheek before walking ahead of them.

"yeah," she sighed, "i'm gonna shag him."

Audrey chuckled, as cho watched her boyfriend.

"good for you, cho," Audrey said sincerely.

"what about you and dean?" cho asked, as they walked into the great hall. "i don't know, we haven't spoken since the fight,"

"i could never go that long without talking to Cedric," Cho said as they searched for an empty place to sit.

"well, thats because your boyfriends great." she sighed, sitting at the end of the Ravenclaw table.
"and my boyfriend thinks i'm dating.. well, everyone!"

"i'm sorry girl," cho said, while offering Audrey toast.

"thanks for the help yesterday," Fred said, appearing behind the girls.

"anytime," she said, reaching for the bacon. "as long as my name is kept out of it when you two get caught."

"oh i'd never let you get in trouble, love." Fred said, before walking away.

Audrey and cho were in the locker room, preparing for the game.

"god, i'm nervous." Audrey said, putting her helmet over her slicked back low ponytail.

"oh cmon," a older Ravenclaw boy named trace said, "your a brilliant flyer, i'm sure you'll do great."

"thanks," she smiled, as they lined up, getting ready to fly out to the field.

Lee, who was commentating, announced the Ravenclaw team, saying each of they're names as a cue to fly.

"the new keeper, Hammond, Audrey! a brilliant girl." he said, and she took off, flying out into the air, and to her post.

the crowd went wild, mostly the Ravenclaws and Gryffindors.

Audrey searched the crowd, as the hufflepuffs started to fly out, looking for a specific boy.

dean.

her eyes wondered, searching every row on Gryffindor side, but no dean.

he hadn't shown up to her first ever quidditch game.

she saw Fred and George in the stands, with Audrey's jersey number on they're cheek, #09

they gave her huge grins, and thumbs up, trying to keep her happy.

but sitting in the row in front of the twins, was Ron.

all she wanted was for him to just smile at her, give her any sign that he had forgiven her, but he didn't.

they made eye contact, but he gave no reaction.

Audrey had so many emotions running through her, her nerves were through the roof,

but she was still so excited.

but anger, that dean hasn't shown up for her.

and sadness, for her and Ron's friendship, she was sure that it was over, for good.

but she couldn't think about that, it was time for Quidditch.

madam hooch, Cedric, and Ravenclaws captain we're all in the middle of the field.

madam hooch threw up all of the balls, and the match had begun.

Audrey watched the quaffle closely, letting her eyes follow it intently.

and every time one of the chasers flung the ball her way, she imagined it was deans head.

she blocked every single shot, hitting the quaffle hard, sending it at Hufflepuff players.

she didn't have to keep it up for long though, as cho was seeker and very dedicated to winning the game.

it only lasted thirty minutes before she caught the snitch, raising it up high and laughing as Cedric shook his head in defeat.

both teams landed they're brooms, Hufflepuff waking back to they're locker room, heads hung low, except for Cedric, who stayed on the field to celebrate his girlfriends win.

the twins made they're way down to the field, practically trampling Audrey in excitement.

"you are, awesome Audrey!" Fred she picking her up, and spinning her around.

"put me down!" she laughed, grinning ear to ear.

until she spotted Ron, standing a good 15 feet away from the rest of them.

he watched longingly, as his older brother held her close to him.

he had never wanted to be someone more.

he had ruined everything with Audrey, and now they weren't even friends.

it was killing him.
