"Audrey!" George said at breakfast Sunday morning,
appearing behind her yet again.

"how may i help you today Georgie," she smiled looking over her shoulder at him, "so glad you asked,"

"so," he sat down next to her, "me and Fred are in desperate need of your help,"

"go on," she said, spreading jam on her toast. "we need you, to get lookout for me and Fred, while we uh, take a few ingredients from snape," he lowered his voice at the last bit.

"when and where," she said taking a bite of her bread.

"potions class, bout an hour," he explained, standing back up.

Audrey left the great hall, on her way back to the common room until she needed to help the boys.

"hey Audrey!" Ron exclaimed, she turned around to see him trying to catch up to her, "oh sorry Ron," she giggled a bit.

"no no it's fine!" he said, now standing in front of her. "wanna go play chess with me?" he asked hopefully, twiddling his fingers together.

"sure," she replied, sending the red head a smile.

they made small talk as they walked to Gryffindor common room, talking about anything they could think of.

Ron said the password, and they made they're way to his dorm, just like the night at the party.

Audrey watched as Ron kicked his laundry under the bed, "ignore that," he said, embarrassed.

"my dorm is much worse," she said truthfully, thinking about all the clean and dirty clothes in her floor, books, dirty plates and cups.

they made they're way to the chess table, and started they're game.

"tell me a story," Audrey said, after about 10 minutes of playing. "what do you mean?"

"like tell me something, something real." she said, moving her piece.

"uhm, okay," Ron said, clearly trying to think of a story. "ah i got one, but you have to promise not to laugh at me."

"i will never promise that," she scoffed jokingly, watching Ron move his piece.

"when i was younger, maybe 7?" he said, now looking at her instead of the board, "it was Christmas, and we had just finished opening our presents."

Audrey moved her piece, "and ginny, she got these muggle dolls that my dad found, called barbie's, and Fred and George had gotten this fake moving spider thing, looked really real," he cringed, "and they needed to use it on someone and of course chose me, so they walk about to my room a fling open the door while letting the spider loose on me,"

"but they forgot about the spider pretty quickly when they saw me playing with ginny's barbie's," Audrey laughed, imagining little Ron playing alone with his sister's barbie's, "that's adorable Ron," she smiled, heat raising to his face, he continued.

"they didn't think so, teased me for weeks." he said, eyes falling onto the board, "well i think it's cute."

Ron's face was turning red, but he needed to focus.
suddenly he saw the best move he could ever make, "checkmate." he said, smirking up at Audrey.

they continued playing, right up until Audrey had to leave.

"i've got to go," she sighed, looking at the clock, desperately wanting to finish the game, "what no, stay," he frowned.

"i can't," she said standing up, "i promised to help the twins,"

"with what? i'll help, maybe," he said, walking her to the door. "i have to be lookout so they can still snapes potion ingredients."

"oh pshh, i'll come!" he exclaimed, desperate to hang out with Audrey, they had really started to get closer lately.

"fine by me," she smiled, leaving the dorm, Ron followed like a little puppy dog.

they made they're way from Gryffindor common room all the way done to the dungeons, "you know, i didn't know you knew how to get into the kitchens, i'd never seen you in there before," he said referring to the night before.

"that was my first time, the twins actually told me about it last year." she explained, "how'd you figure it out?"

"i overheard seamus talking about it," he shrugged as the twins came into eye line, standing outside potions class room.

"oh hello ickle ronnie," Fred said, "don't remember inviting you." George finishing for him, Ron scoffed as he rolled his eyes.

"i did," she rolled her eyes, "now go get your stupid shit."

"yes ma'am," Fred explained as they walked into the potions class room.

"you know, why couldn't one of them keep watch while the other one got the ingredients?" Ron's eye brows knitted together.

"your right, they didn't even need me!" her mouth fell open, realizing she was wasting her own time.

"we could be finishing out game right now," he sighed, leaning against the wall.

"wait," Audrey said, "be quiet for a second."

foot steps echoed through the halls, they were getting closer and closer, "it's probably just some Slytherin," Ron said hopefully.

snap rounded the corner, making eye contact with Audrey, "oh hello professor snape!" audrey said, loud enough that the boys would hear.

"what could you two possibly be doing outside my classroom?" he growled, greasy hair being highlighted from the light.

"uhm," Audrey tried to think of an excuse, think of something to stop snape from going in the classroom.

she swiftly took Ron's hand, and took off, knocking over a lantern in the process, and just as Audrey had hoped, he followed.

"bloody hell!" Ron exclaimed, surprised by all the suddenness, "cmon!" she chuckled.

they ran, looking back a few times to make sure he was still there.

they made a few quick turns, trying to throw him off,
Ron spotted a small broom cabinet, and swiftly pulled himself and Audrey inside.

it was tiny, the two of them just barely fit, a small gap between the two.

it was dark, very dark.

"is this a bad time to tell you i'm scared of the dark, and small spaces." she said, squeezing her eyes shut.
