*Emily pov*

After receiving an email about his details and spending most of my evening online shopping I was finally ready to start putting his nursery together for when he gets here. It's early Tuesday morning and he won't be here till Friday.

"Does it have to be a boy" Leah whines to Charlie. After finding out it was a boy and not a girl she was finding it hard to process..

"Well Auntie Emi didn't get to pick, just like how I didn't pick you. I'm sure you will get along with him just fine" Charlie says to her as he brushes her hair on the couch. The delivery men have started to put everything together in the room next to mine while I sit downstairs with Charlie and Leah. Leah moves away from Charlie and into my lap, her big Hazel eyes looking up at me.

"I don't want Daddy to brush my hair, he do it bad. Auntie Emi do it please" Leah says as she looks up at me and I smile back, taking the brush from Charlie and brushing her hair softly. I do her hair half up and half down and then she runs off to go and color.

Finally the delivery men start to leave and one hands me a form which I sign and I thank them. I walk upstairs and into the nursery, the walls were all a baby blue color except the one white wall at the back. A white crib with blue hears along the rim was at the back. There was a matching changing station and wardrobe which was currently empty but that could be changed. Seeing all of it start to come together just made me more excited to get him over.

Riley Weedle, My little. The thought alone makes me smile widely and this smile doesn't fade as the day goes on. I decide to go shopping for little things for Riley. Leah and Charlie tag along.

"Leah, best behavior. Do you understand?" Charlie warns her as I park the car outside the shop. Leah nods gently and he helps her out the car and she holds his hand tightly. First I go to a clothes shop, there are lots of onesies and footies to pick from. I pick out a few of each and some pacifiers for him. It says his age will be 1-2 years (12-24 months) so I also pick up some diapers and pull ups.

It was all fine until the toy shop, I pick up a few teddies and then I hear a scream that sounds like Leah. I walk over to Charlie and Leah is on the floor screaming.

"Leah stop this right now" Charlie says sternly to her as she continues to scream on the floor, drawing attention to herself.

"I WANT IT! I WANT IT! I WANT ITTTTT" Leah is relentlessly screaming and crying until Charlie pops her on the thigh. He is crouched down to her level and pointing a finger in her face.

"Now you listen here little girl, daddy said no. When we get home your in trouble do you understand" Charlie says in a quiet but stern tone.

I knew he didn't like being stern with Leah but sometimes you need to be. She nods and Charlie picks her up. Leah just lays her head on Charlie's shoulder quietly as I lay for the teddies and toys I bought for Riley's nursery. When we got home Leah was sent to her naughty corner for half an hour. I started to put the clothes and other items away in his room until it was finally all away, the room was all done... I was prepared.
