Chaos - part 1

Mommy and me spent all day together yesterday, it was so nice and relaxing. I even got to tell her how I was feeling and I felt a lot better. I don't like being little with such big boy feelings. Big boy feelings are super duper hard...

Today I'm feeling a bit bigger and mommy said because I was so good yesterday I can get a new toy. I chose new colouring pens and pencils. Mommy said she has ordered some for me online and they should be here soon. She also said something I didn't expect...

"I have to go away tomorrow on a work trip" Mommy says softly.

"Are we going too then?" Russo asks.

"Where are we going Mama?" I ask excitedly.

"No my babies, your staying here and I'm going" Mommy explains with a sad smile.

"THAT'S NOT FAIR, WHY CAN'T WE COME WITH YOU" Russo whines rather loudly as he sits next to me which makes me flinch.

"Not so loud Honey, your brother doesn't do well with loud noises" Mommy says softly but it doesn't really work on him.

"WELL IT'S NOT FAIR, WHO WILL WE STAY WITH. WHERE ARE YOU GOING. HOW LONG ARE YOU GOING. THIS REALLY ISN'T FAIR" Russo stands up to yell more. I'm starting to panic a little bit more which mommy notice's.

"Dove, do you want to take a break or have a cuddle" Mommy addresses me, I reach my arms up and do grabby hands. She smiles and lifts me onto her lap securely. "Russo, sweetheart I know your feeling a lot of feelings but can you take some deep breaths. Do you wanna come here for a cuddle too"

Russo huffs softly, clearly still upset... But he is clearly not upset enough to not accept a cuddle from mommy. He hugs her side as she holds him.

"My precious boys, you both know I love you so much and I hate to leave you but I don't really have much choice..." Mommy says softly. "I did get you both a gift before I go away because I'm going away for a few days"

She hands me a big box and Russo gets a slightly bigger one. We both open our gifts slowly, mine was an otter teddy that was apparently meant to copy Mommys breathing. Russo got a blanket that had 'Russo & Mommy' sewn into the top right corner. Mommy is so good at giving gifts, but I don't want her to go.

Later on I watched her pack her suitcase and I saw her trying not to cry. She was struggling to keep it together, this would be the longest away from me and Russo for her... I had never been away from Mommy this long, what if she never comes back or gets hurt. I should be trying to take a nap but I'm not tired anyways.

"Mommy, can we cuddle?" I whisper which makes her turn her head and smile.

"Come here then Dove" Mommy smiles and I stand up in my crib for her to pick me up easier. She cradles me while she packs so I'm more comfortable. My eyelids get heavier and I start to drift off until there is yelling in the hallway.

Mommy puts me down and leaves in a hurry which I of course follow her. Charlie was on top of Russo in a blind rage.

"YOUR A FUCKING BITCH RUSSO, A BITCH AND YOU KNOW IT" Charlie is screaming and crying with fists still hitting Russo repeatedly. Mommy lifted Charlie up and off Russo as fast as she could. Russo scrambled to his feet and moved as far away from Charlie as possible which I did the same.

"What's going on up here?" Damon asks. Is he ever going to leave...... At this point he might aswell move on if he hasn't already.

"I was with Riley and all of a sudden Charlie was hitting Russo in the hallway" Mommy sighs. Damon takes Charlie's hand firmly.

"Sorry Em, he has a habit of acting out but I'll deal with him" Charlie immediately goes from very brave to very scared.

"NO, I'M SORRY, I'M SORRY! PLEASE DON'T SPANK ME AGAIN, IT HURTS" Damon ignored him and shut my nursery door behind him, I don't really sleep in my nursery any more anyways. Which is why Charlie sleeps in there and Leah cuddles with Damon.

Mommy approaches Russo and me with soft eyes. Her hand touches Russo's chin gently with just her fingertips as she examines him. When she sees only a small bruise above his eyes and a cut lip she just moves her hand to the back of his head and pulls him into a hug.

He immediately bursts into tears. Clinging to her and crying, I can hear Charlie's wails from my room so he must be in a lot of trouble right now...

"It's okay honey, your safe now" Mommy coo's at Russo, I love mommy she is the kindest of all the mommy's in the world ever.

Charlie and Damon came out after an hour, half an hour of ear splitting wails then silence.

"Charlie, apologize or you can go back to time out" Damon tells him in a scary daddy voice.

"S-s-sorry rus-sso" Charlie hiccups out through tears. Charlie acts all tough but you can see he doesn't think about punishments after then doesn't seem so tough.

Damon picks Charlie up which he fights a little bit but when Damon says his name sternly, Charlie stops fighting. "Sorry about that Em, I don't know why he might have done that. He is usually very physical anyway so it could have been anything" Damon says before taking Charlie downstairs.

I go to join the hug too which mommy doesn't complain. She picks me and Russo up with each arm making us giggle, she is like a super mommy! When she sits down we bounce a little bit on the bed so me and Russo start bouncing on mommy's bed. That was until we got tired and took a nap next to mommy.
