I glance at Nathan, still reigning at the top of the leaderboard. I can't help but admire his intellect. If only I had his IQ.

"Your fourth question is: How did Princess Sierra meet an unfortunate fate?

And your options are:"

I held my breath, waiting for the choices to appear on the screen.

The options appeared on the screen, and I quickly scanned them, trying to recall the details of Princess Sierra's tragic story. Each choice seemed to hold a clue to her unfortunate fate, and I knew I had to choose wisely.

a) While defending the Aerra palace from invaders.

b) While safeguarding a small young lady from danger.

c) While protecting her father from an assailant.

d) While leading a conquest against another palace.

"And your time starts now."

Wow, I know the answer. Kate mentioned this before. Thank you, Kate. I'll definitely treat you to something nice if I make it out alive. With determination, I quickly select my choice, hoping it's the right one.

I press the option b

"Your answer is... Correct," reads the automated voice, relief flooding through me as I see my name inching back up the leaderboard.

The description stated: "The princess sacrificed her life to save a young baby girl who was on the brink of death. By transferring her healing powers to the child, she gave up one of her own. Seeing her own child reflected in the little girl's eyes, she welcomed death with contentment, relieved to have rescued a soul."

"Wow, Princess Sierra is truly remarkable. Why would she do that for a stranger's child? She must have had a heart of gold. It's so sad that she lost her life," I whispered, feeling a deep sense of admiration and sorrow for the courageous princess.

I saw my leaderboard jump up to 18, and I let out a relieved sigh. "Okay, one more question, and maybe I can make it to the top 10".

"Your fifth question is: Who was Sierra's husband, the one who stood by her side through thick and thin?"

and this is where my self esteem takes a hit.

"What the hell! Why would I know about her husband when I hardly know anything about her? Wow, I am doomed," I muttered, frustration and self-doubt creeping in.

I stared at the screen, anticipation building as I waited for the options to appear, hoping to recall the answer.

"And  your options are:"

a) Benedict, the Master

b) Caporaso, the Master

c) Markades, the Master

d) Victor, the Lord

"What in the world is Caporaso doing in the options?"

I'm drawing a blank. I need to think. I recall Aiden mentioning Princess Sierra's happy marriage, but who was her husband?

"Come on, remember," I urged myself, racking my brain. "Okay, I have no clue at all."

Must be Victor the Lord, his name gives out strong aura.

"3..2.." the automated voice counts down.

"Okay, press something," I muttered to myself. "Let's go with Caporaso. I feel so foolish. Why would it even be him? He's super old. But he's the only name I recognize."

"Your answer is ... Correct," read the automated voice, surprising me with its unexpected validation.

"What in the world is happening? So he is the husband. Thank you, almighty. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you for leading me to choose Caporaso. It's quite shocking that he's the princess's husband, which might explain why people are afraid of him."

The description explains : Princess Sierra had a husband named Caporaso Falguerra. They were deeply in love and believed their bond would last forever. However, their happiness was cut short by fate. When Princess Sierra passed away. Due to some unfortunate event Caporaso was cursed. This curse not only prevented him from finding love again, but also caused him to gradually lose his youthful appearance. Once a handsome man, Caporaso began to age prematurely, his once youthful features giving way to the marks of old age. It's a heartbreaking turn of events, as Caporaso's life is forever changed by the curse, leaving him with a life devoid of love and a body that betrays his former self.

"I wonder, what more is there? Why was he cursed? What happened?" I whispered to myself, my curiosity piqued.

"Now it's time for your recess. Please be back within 15 minutes," instructs the teacher. Suddenly, the tablet and the screen vanish, leaving only our leaderboard in front of us as we eagerly head out for a break.

"Wow, I can't seem to shake the thought of Caporaso being the husband. If that's true, then he must be a prince. What's happening here? Oh no, my curiosity is getting the best of me."
