Chapter 428: The Supreme Leader Arrives: Kokichi Ouma

Control Room

3rd person POV

Kokichi has just made his presence known to his participants.

The game he made was about to begin. Obviously, his excitement was uncontainable as he wore a devious grin.

Kokichi: This is gonna be fun. Man, they have no idea what's in store for them. I mean, it's quite the task to have this entire place set up. But it's definitely worth it given that all of this was made to ensure that everyone gets to play. Otherwise, it would get dull. Games aren't fun if you don't have people to play it, isn't that right, Ayanokouji?

Automatically, the throne he's sitting on began to move around by itself through a mechanism as it now faces a different direction away from the screens.

He was now facing Ayanokouji himself who surprisingly, is just standing there unharmed and for some reason not restrained at all.

Ayanokouji: You're making them play a game?

Kokichi: That's right and I can assure you. It's going to be fun.

Ayanokouji: You've gone through all of this trouble to capture every one of us and yet how am I not involved in that game? Care to explain yourself?

Kokichi: Why are you not in the game you ask? It's quite simple...because you're going to ruin it.

Ayanokouji: Ruin it, how?

Kokichi: I don't underestimate my opponents. I'm not dealing with stupid people here and you most definitely aren't stupid. You wanna why you're here instead of being with them? 

Ayanokouji: Just answer the question.

Kokichi: Alriggght. You see...we know very well of your reputation as the Masterpiece in ANHS and of course, the White Room. We know exactly what you're capable of. In a game like this, it would've been a cinch for you. That's why I brought you here, so you don't win the game easily for your idiot friends. 

Ayanokouji: But why not just make the game harder for me then? Why bring me here if you could just do that?

Kokichi: You don't get it do you? I already said that we know what you're capable of...and that includes your ability to adapt.

Ayanokouji: Hmm?

Kokichi: I think you should know by now that we also have information on the White Room. Apocalypse has sent a spy a while back to gain intel on the White Room and in ANHS as well. I'm sure you can take a guess who this person is since you two have already met before.

Ayanokouji: Who are you talking about?

Shinji: He's obviously talking about me.

Just then, from out of nowhere.

Shiba Shinji arrives from behind as he stood a good 10 feet away from Ayanokouji.

Ayanokouji: Aren't you-

Shinji: It's been a long time, Ayanokouji-kun. Looks like you've grown quite a bit it seems.

Ayanokouji: Shiba...

Kokichi: That's right. If you can't tell by now, Shiba Shinji here was our spy. He's the one who gave us the info on you and everyone from Class S.

Shinji: That's right. You've wondered about who I work for, didn't you? Well, it should be clear as day to you now.

Ayanokouji: You're a member of Apocalypse as well. That does make sense.

Kokichi: Yeah! To think that someone of his caliber would manage to infiltrate both the White Room and ANHS within that same year that it had all of the shit that went down. It's like everything that happened during your 3rd year culminated to this. Now that's long-term storytelling right there!
