Tsukuba City, Japan
3rd person POV
Several helicopters were flying in the sky.
All of them were heading straight for the Yotsuba main research facility known as Facility Omega.
Jane Austen, the strategist of the Celestial Angels and the rest were discussing their move to assault the facility itself through their communicators since some of them were in separate helicopters.
Jane and Dante were in their own helicopter.
Nana and Kakine as well, and then Goethe and Makishima are also in their own helicopter.
Jane: The ground forces will join us soon. Make sure we keep them busy while the mad doctor prepares his device.
Nana: In terms of defenses on the outside, they're completely weak on that department. The inside will be our problem.
Goethe: Leaving the external part of the facility unguarded with weapons is of course just part of the bait on Maya's part. She wants to let her enemies' guard down on purpose. It was by design on why the outer area is always left with nothing other than looking like a simple yet grand science facility.
Dante: Let them keep their eyes on us. How long are we to stall them?
Jane: Give the doctor about 24-25 minutes.
Kakine: Hmph! That won't take long.
Makishima: Almost half an hour is going to pass by fairly quick. So, we should definitely take our time.
Nana: How do we even know if Maya has her eyes on us?
Goethe: She has to. If she doesn't see our major pieces as threats, then Maya is a fool to think so. She's intelligent enough to know what's a threat and what isn't and that's what we're going to take advantage of.
Jane: Exactly. You'd have to be as smart as a 3rd grader to not deal with us.
Dante: Just tell me when to strike. I'll be the one to have that woman's head even if it means leaving a trail of crimson in my wake.
Jane: You'll get your chance. Just make sure you don't destroy the place too much. We still have some tech to steal.
Dante: No need to tell me twice, Austen.
Goethe: Anyway, be on your positions, I'll be placing the EMP device on the rooftop soon.
Jane: Right.
They all then hung up as Dante suddenly stood up as he walked close to the edge of the helicopter to take in the view.
Normally, people who try to walk near the edge would be fearing for their lives.
Especially those of Acrophobia, the fear of heights.
But the demon worshipper of the Celestial Angels has no fear as he stood there with his face as cold as ice.
Jane: Say, Dante-kun.
Dante: Hmm?
Jane: I always find you quite an oddball if you ask me.
Dante: So?
Jane: You're not even a man of God, and yet you chose to follow Fyodor-sama. I find that quite ironic. Then again, you once said to the rest of us that you only believe in hell rather than heaven. Why is that?
Dante: Because that's the only place you can go after death. Heaven is just a mere lie made up by those of priests of my hometown in Florence. I come from a religious family, but I never considered myself a follower of God especially when I started reading up on Demonology when I was young.
