3rd person POV

Gym Room

Masakatsu Shiro was at the gym room of the building.

He's currently in his nighttime workout. He was shirtless and wearing blue running shorts.

Shiro: *Sigh* well, this is boring. Then again, I haven't been sent to a mission just yet so...

He suddenly drank from a bottled water whole before casually throwing it behind him into the garbage can nearby without even looking.

Shiro: All right...I guess I should start again-

Just then, he heard a "ding" sound. His notifications were on.

He quickly grabbed the phone to see what it was about.

Shiro saw that it came from Kurokawa Akane.

Shiro: (Akane-san?)

It was a text message. It says that she wanted to speak to him about something important.

Shiro questions to himself what it is but decides to just call Akane right away without even a single thought.

His phone starts to ring as he waits for Akane to answer.

Meanwhile

Akane was still in her room as she was looking up some emails as at the same time.

Her phone began to ring.

Akane: Hmm?

She looked towards her phone before picking up the phone and checked who was calling her.

The moment she looked; she was already surprised.

It was Shiro.

Akane: (Shiro-kun!?)

She couldn't believe that he had time to call her and decided to not keep him waiting and answered him back.

Akane: Umm...hello.

Shiro: Akane-san.

Akane: Ohh...Uhh hey Shiro-kun. It's nice hearing your voice again.

Shiro: I didn't expect you to text me at a time like this, so I decided to call you.

Akane: Y-yeah...I mean I didn't call you without a reason.

Shiro: I wanna get straight to the point, Akane-san. What is it that you want to tell me?

Akane: Well...I don't know if you can help me here or not but...I want to get some answers from you.

Shiro: Answers?

Akane: Yes...you see, ever since the incident on Suijin. I've been a bit curious about these current terrorist attacks since they seem quite concerning. Even my colleagues at Lala Lai are concerned about this. We've had like...schedules that were cancelled because of these rising crime rates and those within the company and are afraid to produce plays due to the danger of being affected by criminal activity.

Shiro: I see. Well, public safety is important. Also, why are you looking up on terrorist activities? Don't tell me you plan on investigating on it?

Akane: Of course I am! I mean, there's been something bothering me about what happened on Suijin, especially in regard to Aqua-kun.

Shiro: Hmm?

Akane: I'm sure you probably heard about a certain someone who went to jail after the incident.
