Mello and his team have now arrived Kawasaki city.
It is an industrial city located in the Kanagawa Prefecture in the Greater Tokyo area.
This city is the eighth most populated city in the country.
As Matt was driving.
Tanizaki spoke to break the silence.
Tanizaki: So, where is this weapons depot?
Mello: According to him. It's inside a factory just northwest from where we are.
Yosano: A factory?
Mello: Excuse me, what I meant was underneath the factory.
Kenji: Underneath?
Yosano: You're saying it's underground?
Mello: Exactly.
Matt: It's going to be heavily guarded though as expected of the mafia. It's best that we should prepare first before actually going in there and destroy the place.
Tanizaki: I agree. Lord knows how many Port Mafia goons are in there.
Mello: Fine. Obviously, we wouldn't be going in without some sort of strategy. Though we should head close to our target area so that we can plan things out there instead.
Matt: You have an idea already?
Mello: Of course, just look who you're talking to.
Matt: Heh! When it comes to planning ahead. You're always somehow ahead of me.
Mello: L wants this done as soon as possible. That way the Port Mafia wouldn't be too much trouble in the end, and I can at least have L acknowledge me enough.
Matt: I see...still trying to gain his favor so that you can be the next successor?
Tanizaki: Next successor?
Yosano: What's that about?
Matt: Ohh we haven't told you about that huh? Never mind what I said. It's a personal thing to be fair. I'm not as interested as Mello or Near about that kind of stuff.
Mello: You've said that like a dozen times now. I mean you have the intellect and yet you're not gonna try and use it to fight over successorship?
Matt: How many times do I have to tell you? It's not my thing. I'd rather have you being the next L anyway.
Mello: Tch! You show a little too much generosity there. Come on, where's that aggression? The will to be competitive?
Before their conversation continued.
All of a sudden...
The car starts going out of control as something went wrong.
This caught everyone in there by surprise.
Matt: Huh!??!
Tanizaki: Hey!! What's going on!?
Matt: Shit! I can't control this thing.
The car starts to slide through the streets.
Matt is unable to control the car anymore.
Kenji: Weeeeeeee!!!
The farmer boy had his hands up still happy as Mello scoffed at him.
Mello: This isn't some joyride Miyazawa! I think one of the tires got hit somehow!
