Chapter 422: When Fates Intertwine and Chaos Rises

3rd person POV

A black car was moving about the streets of the city. 

The city itself has been fairly quiet after the Port Mafia situation died down.

However, while that threat is gone. Another emerges as three individuals are inside of the black car along with a driver.

The three of them are actually the top three of the 6th generation.

Akuma Yamato, Masaki Kenji, and Hamasaki Miya.

Miya: You do realize that we're completely disregarding Ayanokouji-sensei's orders, right?

Kenji: So, what of it?

Miya: Why are we going on our own accord, without either his or Tsukishiro's permission?!

Yamato: Actually, Tsukishiro did give us permission. Though he only told me and Kenji.

Miya: Seriously, I know you two have some ulterior motive in all this. I've known you two for as long as when we were in the White Room. What exactly are you guys actually doing? First, it was the taking over of the Port Mafia and now...

Kenji: You just have to keep your mouth shut, Miya. What we're doing now in this hunt for the Masterpiece isn't going anywhere. Ayanokouji-sensei has gotten desperate by asking help from the other families who sided with him. The search for Ayanokouji-dono isn't going to progress nor it will matter now since things are beginning to get complicated.

Yamato: Shiba Katsunori-sensei's death. I believe that there really are other forces in play. Multiple of them in fact other than the mafia, ADA, and even Class S.

Miya: So, what exactly are you guys up to now, and what are these...other forces?

Yamato: Terrorists, Miya. 

Miya: Terrorists?

Kenji: Haven't you been paying attention to the news? Sometimes I wonder what you've been doing when you're not doing your job.

Miya: Whatever. Just tell me who they are.

Kenji: From what I've heard. This terrorist group calls themselves, Apocalypse.

Miya: Apocalypse? Pfft! Sounds quite foreboding.

Kenji: What I can tell you about them based on my knowledge of this group so far is that they're currently hunting down dangerous government weapons.

Miya: Government weapons you say??

Yamato: Yes. We've sent a single government official manipulated by Kenji to figure out what this is all about because I had a hunch that Ayanokouji-sensei nor Tsukishiro know of these weapons.

Kenji: I was quite surprised that the government would hide such weaponry and ended up being stolen from Apocalypse. It makes me wonder. What happens if we get a hold of any of them? 

Miya: Huh? What are you talking about? Don't tell you guys are planning to find these weapons? Our objective is Ayanokouji-senpai!

Yamato: True, but I think it's clear to me and Kenji that going after him is a waste as of now.

Miya: What?

Yamato: It may still be our objective, yes. However, I believe that there are people who are already trying to prevent that. Apocalypse is one of them. I don't why but they seem to be a threat to our objective. I doubt Ayanokouji-sensei will do anything about it. Neither the Port Mafia given that as long as no one is meddling with their business. They are free to do whatever they want. I didn't bother with these people that much...until I realized that there's a possibility that Ayanokouji-senpai could be connected to these events as well.
