It was a quiet late afternoon in Ikebukuro as Shizuo took a smoke.

Despite the peace that's been going about due to the recent events.

Shizuo has this building anger within him.

An anger with a purpose. Something that other than pure hate and sudden rage. He has this sense of vengeance within him.

Shinra: I knew you'd be here, Shizuo-kun.

Shizuo: Ohh it's you Shinra.

He wasn't amused nor uninterested to see Shinra at the moment.

But it's clear that he has some important things to say to him.

Shinra: So, how are you doing?

Shizuo: I don't know. It's annoyingly peaceful. Surprisingly I haven't been throwing stuff as I usually do.

Shinra: Sounds like an improvement if you ask me. Anyway, how's Tom?

Shizuo: He's fine. In fact, I told him about the number that the detective gave me. He said that I can do whatever I want as long as I go back to being his bodyguard after this whole fiasco is over. Anyway, who was that person who gave the number again?

Shinra: Ohh you mean Ranpo. Yeah, it's quite surprising. It took me a while to realize that it was an invitation of sorts. Ranpo visited Ikebukuro again just to tell me that.

Shizuo: I see, and you came to tell me just that when you got your answer. Question is, what's the invitation for?

Shinra: Well, if I recall. Ranpo mentioned that if we take this call. We'll likely get the answers to our questions in regard to our current situation and because he sees us as a helpful cause.

Shizuo: Answers...like why is Izaya working with a terrorist group? Why Ikebukuro became his playground?

Shinra: Yeah, those kinds of answers that we've been trying to look for. I bet this is an invitation to some secret government group whose job is dealing with these terrorists.

Shizuo: That doesn't sound too farfetched. I do plan on taking up that invitation...so that I can kill that cockroach once and for all.

Shizuo then drops his cigarette to the ground and stomps on it with Shinra now continuing the conversation.

Shinra: To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a secret government group that's inviting us. I guess they probably recognize our talents.

Shizuo: Maybe.

???: Finally found you.

Shizuo/Shinra: Hmm?

All of a sudden, as the two looked at who spoke to them.
