Misaka POV

Man, I'm kinda bored right now.

Another rough day in college and all that.

Well, at least I get another hour or so before I go back to the dorms.

Guess I'll just grab a bite to eat.

As I walked down on the quiet streets.

I then noticed something.

"Huh?"

From a distance.

I noticed a person from a top of a building.

I couldn't tell who it is or see the face from here, but I think it looked that person is holding some kind of sniper and it's aiming at something or someone.

Just from here it's likely that the sniper is targeting someone just north from my position.

*Bang*

I then heard a sort of loud bang from that location.

Wait, did the person shoot someone!?

I immediately ran to the location where the sniper made their shot.

As I made it.

I was shocked.

It was a man, and he had his brains all blasted in the head.

I looked at the corpse and I was a bit disgusted when I saw the inside of his head.

That bullet really drove into him.

I looked at the direction of where the sniper was, but sniper guy was gone.

Shit...

I immediately grabbed my phone and called the police.

What the hell was that for?

I've seen the news regarding congressmen getting assassinated and stuff recently.

I bet this could be related but this guy doesn't look like someone that's a congressman.

What's going on here?

3rd person POV

After that sudden incident.

The sniper as it turns out was one of the Black Organization's members Chianti.

Chianti: Well, that was a decent warm-up. Now onto the next-

Jane: What are you doing?

She then had her eyes wide as Jane Austen shows herself.

Chianti: What are you doing here?

Jane: You think I'm not aware of what you're doing? Kafka-kun already brought me into one operation and then here you are shooting people without even a consent from either me or Kafka-kun.

Chianti: I was bored okay!

Jane: You really are a handful. What did I say about insubordination?

Chianti: I don't take orders from you! I already told you that!

Jane: I don't like your attitude. You know it's funny. I actually liked you at first but given how you can't even follow one simple order from me or Fyodor-sama. It's clear that you're not pretty good at listening to your new superiors.
