3rd person POV
Light and the other members of the CSD arrived at the crime scene where the last murder took place.
It was in a dark alley.
Light: This is the last place where the murder took place, right?
Shino: That's right.
Light: I see.
Touma: So, what now? I mean where do we find a guy with a black star in his eye?
Misaka: I don't know but he should at least somehow leave a clue.
Shino: I don't think so.
Misaka: Huh?! How come?
Shino: When we looked around. We couldn't find a single piece of evidence.
Light: The murderer must've cleaned the place up before leaving. That would explain the lack of any clues. But there has to be something. Asada-san, may I see the photo??
Shino: Sure.
She showed her phone with the picture of the murderer.
Light looked at it closely and then looked at the alleyway.
Light: Well, this isn't the same alleyway as the photo. So, it must be somewhere else. Asada-san, where was this photo taken?
Shino: Your father told me it was right around Takioji street.
Light: I see, then let's head there.
Misaki: We're moving already? This investigation stuff is a bit tiring. Can we just stay here and plan things out first? Plus, the police car seems a little too damp for my liking.
Misaka: Well, we can just leave you in this dark alley if you want while we go on ahead.
Misaki: What do you mean?
Misaka: We can use you as bait if that's the idea.
Misaki: On second thought, moving around in a damp police car seems better.
Misaka: (Sheesh, that was fast. To be honest, I was hoping to use her as bait for that murderer since she looks like an actress.)
Kazuto: They get along pretty well.
Touma: You have no idea...
Light: Okay, let's get moving people. We're heading to Takioji street.
Touma: Hey ugh, Yagami.
Light: What is it?
Touma: Do you think we'll even find any evidence there?
Light: I hope so. Even if there isn't. Putting that man to justice is our priority.
*Flashback*
Before they left the base.
Ayanokouji has already assigned his own team.
As for the second team.
Light: Kiyotaka.
Ayanokouji: Hmm?
He turns to Light as he spoke.
Light: Mind if take the lead on the second team?
Ayanokouji: You sure?
Light: Asada-san is working with my father after all. I wouldn't mind. Plus, I may provide some help with this case.
L: Good idea, Light. Let him lead that second team, Kiyotaka. He has connections with the police and he may be able to figure out who the murderer is.
