At the entrance lobby.
The CSD were able to make a tactical retreat within the other parts of the facility with Apocalypse ready to take the place for themselves.
Jane Austen was looking at the barrier that Tatsuya created as she realizes what this is.
Jane: Tch! A kinetic absorption barrier. It's the same as the one I used back in Kyoto. Looks like that boy Shiba is going to be a pain to deal with.
Nana: What do we do now? Seriously, I have a feeling that bullets aren't going to anything to that barrier.
Kakine: All right. Let's just get this over with.
Instantly, Kakine used his six wings to strike at the kinetic barrier, but it wasn't good enough as even with titanium wings and a force strong enough to stab through a human body.
It barely did anything.
Kakine: I'm guessing it's more than capable of taking more than a hundred joules. Fuck this, I'm flying from the elevators.
Just before Kakine was about to.
Everyone begins to get a call from a certain mad scientist who of course was none other than Goethe.
Goethe: Sorry to interrupt in whatever your actions are as of now, but the EMP device will activate soon. Once it does, it will disable everything in this entire facility, other than the technology created by yours truly since all of the devices you all use are designed to withstand electromagnetic pulses. There are only 7 minutes left before it completely disables the entire place.
Jane: Understood. Of course, let's not forget what we're here for.
Goethe: Of course, after all. We'll steal what they have available and have Yotsuba Maya's head in the process. Anyway, brace yourselves. Once the EMP pulse disrupts that barrier. Find Maya and take what you see. Ohh and if possible, kill anyone from Class S. If you see one of them, don't hesitate to go for the kill.
He quickly hangs up as everyone already knew the objective.
Dante: It's only a matter of time. They'll all be dead soon. These fools are just delaying the inevitable.
Nana: What a pain. I don't think I expected Class S to be here.
Kakine: You're not the only one. This is not going as well as we'd hoped it be.
Jane: There's no job that's considered a walk in the park you know. Besides, how are they going to escape this place anyway? This may be a large lab complex but it's more akin to a tomb for them since there's really no way out other than death. Trust me, they'll need a miracle to even survive this...if there is any.
